One of my wife’s biggest hobbies is finding the best bakeries around and buying them out of cookies, cinnamon buns, etc. I try to resist but give in most of the time. Then, this past weekend, the annual “she-devils” came around wearing their green uniforms. This girl walks straight up to the end of my driveway pulling a wagon filled with girl scout cookies. I’m like, “God does not want me to lose weight…” ![]()

Hope you are able to keep dodging the flu. Our kids are still in masks at school here so hopefully that will help us dodge it. But knowing our school board, they will probably get rid of masks at the worst possible time and everyone will get the flu. Hopefully they will keep them around until the end of February and maybe we’ll be out of the woods by then.

Yeah our school district doesn’t mandate masks. Honestly, I am glad they don’t, but I get the sentiment on keeping the kids flu free. I think my wife has definitely got the worse of it. Somehow it has passed me by.
Ha ha, yeah, I noticed my legs were sore when I started doing LISS again after covid. Glad your school district doesn’t mandate masks. I see some benefit to the masks as the kids here rarely got sick when they mandated them. That was, until omicron… There was no stopping that… They go back and forth here. They lifted the mandate right before the holidays, only to bring it back right when school started back in January. This is the one time of year when I don’t mind it. If they are going to go back and forth with it, hell, just leave the masks on until we get past flu season. That may be a bigger risk than omicron was anyway. Maybe I’m just being self-serving, but I don’t feel like getting another major virus right now…
