Settling My Stomach in the Morning

When I wake up in the morning I always feel a bit of nausea usually due to a cold and I have trouble eating most things without wanting to puke besides like maybe toast or a bit of cereal but im trying to lose weight and im not suppose to eat over 30 carbs a day total. So any suggestions?

Do you often have a cold? Why do you think you have nausea?
Anyway, a quick fix-it for nausea/stomach upset is ginger. Get yourself some fresh ginger, cut off a two inch piece and cut into small pieces. Add to boiling water for 15 minutes. Add honey to taste.

Your post nasal drip may very well be the cause. In my case I suffer from heartburn and sometimes the stomach acid gets aspirated into my lungs. This causes my post nasal drip to get worse. This is according to my allergist. Have you ever had your allergies tested. It may be helpful to have your allergies and food allergies tested.

I did when I was very young because I had asthma but I’ll definitely look into getting it tested again. Thanks

what about a protein shake? Easy on the tummy and packed with good stuff. have a full meal like an hour later when your stomach is settled.
