Just want to add that your body is made of material which results from energy, which comes from food. It will not increase in size without giving it more fuel.
Your quandary is much like this analogy: A builder wants to build a house, but he can’t afford any more bricks: THE HOUSE WILL NOT GET BUILT.
I can understand your ‘allowance’ isn’t enough but I never had an allowance so maybe you should just get a job? Even for a few hours? Because if you fail to supply the materials required for growth, that is an active choice not to grow.

again, it isnt that hard, and it doesnt take all day. If you studied for 2 hours a day, which is MORE then enough, you still have plenty of time to work.
