In 2007 I was 150 pounds and couldnt see my abs when i flexed. Today I am 208 with abs.

What is there to laugh about? What is it about my progress that you find so hilarious? You dont like seeing people meeting their goals to get bigger?
your advice is hilarious, one guy needed OVERALL mass and you said he needed to work on his forearms…?
For another guy celtics said, ‘you need more arms.’ WTF does that mean?
I think he meant this:

I posted that in reply to his post.

I find it hard to believe nobody can relate to the op. He is sitting here with his update pictures making steady gains. Meanwhile he is peer pressured into believing that some members on this site have advice actually worth hearing and he is confused why these members just don’t easily post pictures to back up they’re assumed knowledge. Especially when they often cite their own bigness as reason to respect and listen to them. Anyway I don’t give a fuck enough to make this kind of thread or ask anyone here for pictures. Don’t let me derail the momentum on the flaming though, bbq’s are always nice.

I’m not gonna lie… that same thought crossed my mind too. Devil’s advocate is just too tempting in a thread where everyone is flaming someone for a less than unpardonable offense though.

You just can’t have that here.

A place like IM where the members have respect, trolling isn’t tolerated and people who haven’t accomplished anything are frowned upon calling people out, okay fine. But here, well here there is too much jealousy and hate to expect people that have made quite a bit of progress, particularly vocal members, to expose themselves to the bullshit.

Shit I have e-stalker trolls for Christ Sake, I can’t imagine the bullshit other people go through.

Look at the kid you are responding too. He followed around a 17 year old kid on these boards trying to put him down, even came into the BOI to do it. The 17 year old has made great fucking progress since joining these boards, put up a video of exceptional effort, only to have that faceless jealous coward put him down…

Now why on earth would anyone weighting close to 300lbs put themselves out there to be put down by people that haven’t even thought about accomplishing as much?

I’m a little hurt that I didn’t make the call out list.

RE my last post:

OP has made great progress, and I’m not including him in the group of jealous haters I mentioned above.

Also, do the powerlifters around here get this kind of shit?

Why would he be confused? If he has half a brain, he should be able to work out who is worth listening to and who isn’t without pics. If someone is a pretender, there is always a point when they give themselves away.

Size only becomes an issue when people start making amateurish mistakes like telling Professor X that he isn’t as muscular as his pics suggest because he reached his “calculated genetic limit” five years ago.

Then, these same amateurs counter any response by saying that he’s using his size to compensate for experience, when in fact it is proof of it. They are too stupid to see that in trying to implicate him, they are revealing their own inexperience.

I’ve never seen a pic of Cephalic_Carnage (with skin on), but I’ve no doubt in my mind that he is extremely knowledgeable and that knowledge has built an equally formidable physique.

Are people really that dumb that they actually fall for this shit about having to see things before they believe it? Or are they just too afraid to trust their own instincts and listen to common sense instead of arguing at every turn?

I agree.

Also, the guys that the OP called out, KNOW what they’re talking about and have put up pics at one time or another, so, what do they have to prove?

They’ve been here a hell of a lot longer than the op and have taken the time to give (still are) a shit-ton of advice on this board to people on here and only ask that you listen to them. Asking for more is pretty damn rude in my book.

While I can understand people wanting to see exactly who they’re dealing with when it comes to training, the way the OP is asking has a lot to be desired.

I agree with this. Also you’ve gotten stalkers because you involve yourself with too many juvenile ‘discussions’ that the mods should have taken care of. Though you seem to get some strange enjoyment out of it so I won’t judge lol.

You would think that the most accomplished people would be able to deal with the ‘putdowns’, but I’ve never been in that kind of situation so I won’t make that assumption. I do think that that has something to do with the way I conduct my self on the BB board though, but maybe I’m just not fun enough to make fun of and stalk I don’t know.

I know that by the time I think I’ve accomplished something with this hobby I’ll have lots of videos and pictures floating around, but that’s my choice and I respect other’s choice to not do that.

I’m asking because

 1. some people I have never seen - cephalic carnage
 2. some others i have never seen proper poses like back double bi on Prof X
 3. I want regular 2 month progress pics from all of them so I know what can be achieved in 2/4/6/8/10/12 month intervals when training at an advanced level

not that much to ask considering it takes all of 2 minutes to take these shots and edit your face out of them. Its not 1980 anymore.

I won’t argue I’m vocal at all, lol… I know I bring some of the trolling on myself.

I enjoy the bullshitting around part. The stalking is a bit much though…

I don’t know why everyone’s hating on the OP. I completely agree. I would even go a step further. Not only should they be shirtless and performing obligatory poses, they should really demonstrate their progress by slowly spreading posing oil on their engorged muscles. In fact, I’m calling bullshit until Professor X and Cephalic Carnage make a video together involving oil wrestling in thongs. Come on people! It’s 2010! Webcams are only 15 bucks!
Hey I think I saw them doing that on chat roulette the other day - you guys are just looking in the wrong place!

Stalking on the forums just means you’ve made an impression. Stalking via PM usually signifies some kind of mental disorder or need for acceptance.

Having trolls follow you across boards is impressive - it means that they are still holding out for some kind of reconciliation even though you’ve made it clear that they are lower than something you’d wipe off your shoe. They like attention but don’t like to be hated due to already rock-bottom levels of self-esteem. You seem to have perfected the right balance of hatred and entertainment value.

I did get the odd one or two pursuing me via PM but they fucked off after I told them what I really thought of 'em. I need more practise…

I’m not sure about the crowd named by the OP, but there are plenty of “big guys” on here who immediately pull the ‘put up pics’ card in training discussions. I’m sure a lot of these guys are guys who don’t put up pics themselves.

I made kind of an off the wall psychosocial observation that the very 1st defenses of the big guys were heavily stacked with members who do put up physique photos; J8pack, Hungry4more & Debra.
