Secrecy Ruining these Forums
SteelyD wrote:
Personally, these forums have been much better for me since I put the OP on my ‘ignore’ list. Unfortunately, I still get to read the dumbassery when people quote her.
I’m making gains, I post once a month updates for poses - what is the problem? Why aren’t you doing the same thing?

Why do you refer to me as “her”? Overcompensating for something?

I’ve been considering posting in the performance section. Keeping a photo and measurements journal, posting past pictures and what I wrote down in 2005 and where I am now and going from there.

There is quite a difference seeing as I used to be 5’10" and 128lbs.

lol

Fuck! The OP has set off my newly completed “Professor X detector” (available in stores soon). Somebody’s gonna die.

Why is that so many big guys on this forum are so secretive with their progress pictures or of footage of themselves in general? Is it that difficult in 2010 to buy a $15 webcam and take a 2 minute video of yourself running through poses and then upload it to youtube?

Is it seriously too much to ask for people to take shirtless shots of a front and rear double bi, a lat spread and quads/calves and then take another pic in the same poses 2 months later and keep doing that?

It is 2010 people - why is this SO RARE on these forums? Is it too much to demand that progress pics be both SHIRTLESS and in GOOD LIGHTING???

That being said - I will say that TheMightyStu downright DELIVERS. I have followed his example and taken and posted regular progress pics and a posing video in Performance Photos so now I’m calling people out here. I do this in order to improve the quality of the forum and also to try to understand why people are so secretive when we all want to see progress and when digital cameras, webcams and youtube are AVAILABLE and cheap.

Calling out:
Professor X (why is the lighting so poor, want to see a posing video)
Cephalic Carnage (Cant find any pics or video of you anywhere, this shouldnt be the case)
Akuma (pics without a baggy shirt please…video of 600 lb for reps smith bench)
Austinbicep
lewhitehurst

Giving props to:
Stu
Waylander
King Beef

People that will inevitably refuse to take progress pics like I ask, why is that? Are you shy? Do you think taking a posing video makes you gay? What is the reasoning? I would genuinely like to know.

i’m still not convinced you’re not a very dedicated troll.

go ahead everybody, check his previous posts.

OP, How hard is it to understand that people don’t post things that they don’t feel like posting?

The big guys on here that give out the most advice and helpful tips are ruining T-Nation forums… Your lack of logic is disturbing OP

Also it seems like you’re never satisfied either. With someone who hasn’t posted pics you want pics with perfect lighting, and with those that have posted pics you seem to want a video of a posing routine. What are you going to ask for next if they give you that? Also like others said before a lot of people don’t care to take pictures and post them on here, or aren’t comfortable doing so.

I dont know what I would ask for after. I’m just unsatisfied as it is now except for shining exceptions along the likes of Stu

How do you know they are big guys if they are so secretive?

Just for the OP

celtics post in the RMP section crack me up, in a I’m laughing at him not with him kinda way.

OPs just subtly looking for more pics for his ‘t nation muscle boyz folder’. He says they inspire him and he admires the physiques, but hes really just looking for crotch shots.

I think you’re right, but there’s always a chance he’s just mentally ill!

OP you are clearly are lacking in people skills. Of course it would be great to see pictures from all the big guys here but this is not the way to go about doing it. All this achieves is getting peoples backs up, it is entirely up to each individual what photos they do or do not post. If you had asked politely for some photos you would have had a far greater chance of getting a positive response.

In 2007 I was 150 pounds and couldnt see my abs when i flexed. Today I am 208 with abs.

What is there to laugh about? What is it about my progress that you find so hilarious? You dont like seeing people meeting their goals to get bigger?

edit: You’re talking about RMP? About me telling people to work forearms? Just so you know I am going for Lee Priest sized forearms which is why I do semi-obscure exerciss like Thor’s Hammer now and i reccomend others work forearms as well.

I hear what you’re saying, but that chance is getting slimmer with every post he makes.
