You were making very good progress. Good luck. I’m sure it’ll all come back better than ever.

I’m very up set with you. You haven’t called or stopped by for a visit in all this time.
A 5K swim? That’s a huge distance. Very ambitious. How are you training for that?

At least it’s down stream
I’m just going to get som mileage under my belt, and work on a little (actually a lot) on my stroke. I used swim quite a bit when I was younger, so I’m hoping for a bit of “muscle memory”.
5K might be a bit, but this is huge!

I have been stopping by now and then. I just didn’t leave a note.
This river swim, is the bet to beat your brother or just complete the distance?
Sounds a hell of a long way to me.
Were you drunk when you made this bet?

Should have been bench, but the bench/curl crowd had line going for a mile or so…
Havent’t gotten to the gym lately… kids are still off from school, and with the wife working on her Thesis and the last exams, it sometimes a bit of struggle to get to the gym.
At least I have my bike ride to work, so I’m not completely slagging off.
Fast gym visit during work. I’ve Decided to give EDT a go, as it is very time efficient.
Tuesday 26. July 2011
Block 1 Militarypress and Lat-pull
MP 40kg total of 73 reps
LP 50kg total of 100 reps
Block 2
Cancelled! I a 20K ride home from work and my legs are hurting enough as it is.
Haven’t posted anything for almost four months… To be honest there haven’t been much to post about.
I did do a lot of swimming but I have to admit that, as much as I love the thought of doing open water swimming, swimming just isn’t the fun it used to be. Motivation for swimming is just plain ZERO!
Instead I will direct all my efforts towards a desperate try to qualify for the Finnish RAW Nationals. My best bet is drop another 5-6kg and “sauna” my way down to -83kg but I will train as if it is not an option.
Last week went well, 5 days of training (I’ll post all days later) and no issues. This week starts of all wrong. One of the kids home sick… meaning no training today, and the hope of getting something done tomorrow is just a barely more than a dream.

What numbers do you need to qualify?

Just checked, -83kg is 527,5 kg and -93kg is 560 kg. Like I said… Desperate!
An optimistic guess is that I’m 40-50 kg from the -83kg total and 5-7 kg BW.
