Yeah man, I hate having a weak looking back! Its ok though, because once I start a slow mass phase, I’m going to make that one of my top priorities.

Workout

Back Squats
1x4 (275lbs)

No rest

Leg Press
1x8 (290lbs)

2min Rest

Dumbbell RDL
1x4 (120lbs)

No rest

Good morning
1x8 (95lbs)

2min rest

Repeated 5x

I stopped my squats a little bit above parallel because once I hit paralell my leg starts to feel like its going to give way. I also didnt bring my knees all the way to my chest on the leg press because of the same reason, but nonetheless I was sweating up a storm and feel like I got a good workout.

I wont be posting my nutrition anymore, aside from what I eat for my carb meal, unless I have to deviate from my set meal plan for some reason. Also, I’ve figured out what I’m going to do once my fat loss stalls:

-Reduce my 2x a week carb meal to 1x every 6 or 7 days
-30min cardio instead of 20 after my lactate sessions
-20min PWO cardio after my strength sessions

  • Adding the 3rd lactate circuit in on lactate days.
  • Adding a finisher at the end of my strength sessions

Not all at once, of course. I think this strategy will take me all the way to my goal of 10% bodyfat. Ain’t nothin left to do but do it.

I forgot to mention the best thing about being back on the high protein/medium fat diet - no carb cravings! Tomorrow is my carb day, so I’m going to decide tonight if I make to make Shugs Superfood pancakes for my girlfriend and I, or if I’m going to go with my tried and true oatmeal, honey and orange combo. We shall see.

Next set of pictures will be 2 weeks from Monday.

i agree you look about 8-10%

Thanks guy. That makes me look forward to the future because if I look like this at around 14%, I can’t wait to see how I’ll look at 10%.

Friday’s workout

Pushup x 15
Backsquat (135) x 15
Bent over row x 12
Leg curl (70) x 15

repeated 2x

Dumbbell Shoulder Press (60) x 15
Dumbbell Step Up (60) x 15
Wide Grip Pulldown (80) x 15

repeated 2x

Tired as hell today after work, but I had to move tomorrows workout up to today since I wont be near the gym tomorrow or Sunday.

For my carb meal on Friday night I had 3 bowls of oatmeal,1 tbsp cinnamon spread out among the 3 bowls and 2tsp of honey. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite meals.

Weighed in at 190 on Saturday morning.

I’m packing my bags and moving right down the street in order to serve up my neighbor Bartl something fierce: http://www.T-Nation.com/tmagnum/readTopic.do?id=2246990

…And I’m back!

I’ve realized that I can’t take more than a few weeks off or I’ll quickly shift into ultra lazy mode, so I’ve given myself a new set of goals, which are in no particular order:

  1. Rehab my knee.

Its actually getting better for some reason despite me not doing anything new, but I’m going to get some ART done on Friday to see if that will help any. I’m also going to start Mike Robertson’s Bulletproof Knees program in earnest now. I’ve messed around with it the past few weeks, but I know that if I want to go from where I am now to where I want to be, I’ll need to make time to do what it says everyday.

  1. Bodyweight Mastery

Since I still can’t do too much with my leg without pain, I’m devoting this time to upping my chin/pullup numbers. At some point I’m also going to work on max strength, strength endurance and explosive strength for horizontal pushing, and after a significant time spent on that, I’ll expand that to vertical pulling as well.

  1. Nutrition overhaul

My main goal by the end of the year is to get back to being 90% Precision Nutrition compliant, but right now I’m not going to stress about it. I’m going to focus on implimenting 1 or 2 of the healthy habits every 2 weeks, making sure I have them down pat before I add another one to the mix. The one thing that I’m really going to work on is fruit intake. I’m not going to limit myself to how much fruit I eat on any given day unless I find myself gaining some pretty significant bodyfat, but I don’t really see that happening.

Glad to see you’re back… soon after being called out on my log… coincidence? Nah, you’re just my bitch

Well in that case, can I have some money?

Welcome back bro, look forward to reading your log again, along with all the open buttness you can get.

Also, nice job during the Bartl/Sayjin showdown, this is for you my friend:

Clearly there is a language barrier between us Sayj… you being my bitch means you do stuff for me, give me stuff, etc. The only thing I give to you are slaps/punches if you misbehave or speak out of turn

Oh and Tmoney…awesome vid!

Ew! That’s so gross and so very wrong. Dude you’re like a brother to me… well a mix between a brother and a girlfriend I tell way too much to… to even think about an S&M relationship with you is going to give me nightmares for weeks. I’ll send you my psych bill.
