I’m just starting out the Scrawny to Brawny Phase I (corrective phase). Based on my assessment I should have about 4 weeks of corrective stuff. During this phase, should I be eating big and trying to gain weight or do I wait until phase II to do that? Like everyone else, I want the weight I gain to be “in the right places” and to be as much muscle rather than fat as possible.
I’ve generally found that if I’m working out and eating around 3000 to 3400 calories, I maintain my weight, whereas if I eat closer to 3700 to 400, I gain weight. So, I’m trying to decide how much to eat daily for the next month.
Just wondering: For those who have done the S2B program, how did you get through the corrective phase? Part of me wants to just go to phase II and start doing harcore heavy lifting, but I tell myself that I’m building my body for LIFE and that in the long-run I’ll be better off doing the corrective work first. What did you tell yourself?
Thanks!
