Personally I thought the best one was when he dropped the chainsaw down the stairwell naked.

I have to memorize 50+ drugs brand name, generic name, and classifications for a test on the 24th.

I went to get a massage yesterday. When the bitch walked in the room (speaking zero English) I was standing there completely naked with a raging hard-on. I refused to use a towel to cover myself and insisted that she massage my hip flexors at the top of my quadriceps so that she had to stare at my dick the whole time.

I waved a twenty dollar bill in front of it in a morbid attempt to get her to jerk me off, but she ignored my efforts. I went home disappointed and took it out on my girlfriend later that evening with extremely rough sex, during which I referred to her as a variety of racial slurs for Asians (she’s white) and squirted AstroGlide in her face. This made me feel very good about myself as a person and about the world that we live in.

You say you tipped her “like five bucks” like you’re a hero. A minimal tip is 15-20% of the bill, and I doubt you covered that. If a waitress helped get our bad meal comped, 50% is the least I’d think of giving her.

The valuation and impairment guidance for securities should be similar to the guidance for loans. Currently there is an inconsistency in the valuation and impairment treatment for securitized loans and unsecuritized loans. The difference in valuing unsecuritized loans and securitized loans was discussed in SFAS 1 15. At that time, the FASB Board recognized that a principal difference between securities and unsecuritized loans is the relatively greater and easier availability of reliable market prices for securities. The current credit market has highlighted that such reliable market prices do not always exist. As such, holders of securitized loans are subject to much harsher valuation requirements and other-than-temporary impairment results even though the underlying collateral is the same.[/quote]

…Security valuations based upon exit prices are appropriate for financial disclosure. A combination of net realizable value recognition and fair value disclosure provides stakeholders with meaningful information about security holdings from both a credit and liquidity perspective.

There are a number of practical problems with applying fair value accounting. Among these problems are a lack of clear guidance on what constitutes an illiquid and/or distressed market, how to determine fair value in an illiquid and/or distressed market, and how to transition between an active and inactive and/or distressed market. These problems have led to inconsistent applications of fair value. The adoption of the changes I have recommended would address the many problems associated with applying fair value accounting in its present form.

20% off of water doesn’t seem like such a sweet deal to me, ay

Thank you. The jolt of self-esteem that I got wore off pretty quickly and turned into a hellish period of brutal introspection, but now I feel great again.

Oh pharmacy. Use flashcards. It’ll take 2 days. do em in groups of ten.

and fuck the apotex recall.

Fuzzy, check out the noop thread under Suppliments and Nutrition ( I think it’s called memory enhancement or something similar)

I tried some of that shit out (it’s perfectly legal and you can get it at most health food stores) and the difference was AMAZING.

Just trying to help, good luck on your test.

my best friend works in a kitchen as a dishwasher\cook and I would go in after hours to hang out. I always said how the kitchen looked really dirty and he was like nah its fine. The last time I was there the fruit flies were in full force, i mean like 1000 of them. recently They were almost shutdown by the health inspector but got lucky.

Wow thanks! BBB edit his first post so it was easy to find the right supplements to add to my regime. I think I’m going to need all the help I can get.

Thanks, I’m sure I’ll be okay

What I do is I have different coloured pens and write out the brand name in one and the generic name in the other. I write each one 5 times out for spelling and memorizing. Then when I say the brand name I say the generic name right after it. I use flash cards like no tomorrow when it comes to medical terminology words!

Somehow, this just seems too useless to me.

Please note I said “seems”

No, the waitress got her place of employment off the hook as I had taken several pictures and was going to call the health department. She was the one that poured the water and somehow missed 5 fly corpses floating in it. She got a 5 dollar tip on a 20 dollar bill, which is 25%, on a meal that contained vermin corpses. I’d say she got on pretty well.

In all honesty I like FV reporting. I feel like the threat of litigation if a company takes too aggressive a position on level 3 items will keep estimates and valuations conservative. It could almost, on some levels be TOO conservative, which will be beneficial in stopping 157 from artificially inflating bubbles. (Although it will still further depress down markets, again somewhat artificially.)

It is really all moot anyway. GAAP will soon be no more, and we will be reporting under IFRS and their FV. Because the world hates America, financial reporting will take a 40 year step backwards, and in 20-25 years after millions of working class people and other investors are ripped off and screwed over, IFRS will grow to resemble the GAAP we already have.

I’d say that the fact that you didn’t cave her face in meant she got on pretty well.

Personally, just to teach her a lesson and let her know you’re not one to fuck with, I would have informed her that in 1963 and 1964 Willie Mays knocked in over one hundred runs each year and hit a combined 85 homeruns, including a solo shot in the bottom of the 16th inning off of Warren Spahn in a 1-0 victory for the Giants. In 1965, Mays won his second MVP award on the strength of a career-best 52 roundtrippers. He also hit his 500th career homerun in 1965.

If that bitch waitress got REALLY smarmy with you, you could even tell her that in 1970 Miles Davis turned the jazz world upside down with the release of “Bitches Brew”, an effort that was a follow-up to his 1969 inaugural foray into fully electric instrumentation, “In A Silent Way” (a personal favorite). Featuring electric bass, two Fender Rhodes pianos, two drummers, and long, free-form playing that rejected the traditional structure of jazz music at the time, “Bitches Brew” was a seminal effort that marked a radical, permanent shift away from anything that the traditional world of jazz was able to comprehend. Miles Davis was always a progressive musician whose music was constantly breaking new ground while his peers were still amazed by his previous efforts, and “Bitches Brew” cemented his reputation as a controversial trailblazer in ALL music, not just jazz.

That should teach her to check for flies in your drink.
