Well first day of the ā€œdeloadā€ started with a bench PR at 315lbs. It moved much easier than anticipated. Wouldn’t doubt i could have gotten 325lbs but that’s for another day. I’ll take the PR. Now the deload can commence for the rest of the week!

Nice work. Does the RP program call for PRs during deloads? I kind of like that idea as a means of lower volume

No, i was only supposed to do 2 sets of 225x5 which i did. I just got it in my head this morning that I would try a few singles and see how it felt. They all felt good i just didn’t want to push it. The rest of the week will be full deload.
