lat training question… when wide grip pull down i dont need to elvate my scaupla every rep Right? keep it down…as shurgging and depressing a a role of traps to do… i know lats do help depress but i wanna know how to keep tension on my lats…
I find squeezing my lats on the eccentric helps for pull-ups, and recently I’ve been doing that for lat pulldowns too and it feels good.

Good question. Probably no set answer, really.
Personally, I’d recommend not going above 8 RPE and staying between 6-8 RPE for 5x5. That should ensure minimal technique breakdown.
