Run Time Down for PFT (USMC)

I’m preparing for USMC OCS, still quite a ways from a 300 PFT, but I’ve found that the run improves pretty fast if you put in 3-4 hard workouts a week. My OSO, and friends who are officers now, have cautioned against hard runs 6 or 7 days a week, chances of injury go up. This workout plan is pretty good:

okay, sorry for taking a couple days, been busy with work and boxing.

Well sjoconn, i was on the treadmill tonight :D, just trying to see what I could do on that, I know its different then the road but, well 3:30am and 35 degrees sucks for running outside. Anyway, jogged 30 minutes at a 12mph pace, which I know is slow as hell but it kept my heartrate at around 168, which well, is way to high for a jog. Anyway, I’ma do some jogging/sprints tomorrow after kickboxing…

I guess I’ll sleep tomorrow night.

and vicomte, like everyone else just get the crunch forms right. I went in when i first enlisted doing like 80 situps, and could only do like 30 crunches, and then 3 weeks later I could do around 85 crunches, so its just practicing.

And on a side rant, I’m livid, I was out of milk, so i make a shake with water, and then opened my other fridge to see an unopened gallon…sigh…

but again, thanks for the help everyone, I figure I’ll let this thread die in OT and make another one in the war room with updates and any other questions that arouse with the pft.
