I must respect the man? Sorry I feel the same way about barry bonds for his accomplishments and impact on the sport. It isn’t respect but rather disdain.

It is funny that I managed to touch a nerve with a number of posters simply by saying I don’t respect someone that uses illegal drugs and lies about it.

I see you’re avoiding the post where I pointed out how hypocritical you were. You changed your post. I saw it. I quoted it. Now apologize and we can move on amicably.

And the difference between Barry and Ronnie is that steroids are not illegal in bodybuilding. You’re an idiot.
Perhaps you should attempt to read, when I posted “I was wrong I thought he was not using steroids…”

For the unitiated…I could have sworn jay cutler was not on steroids, i don’t exactly follow the pro bodybuilders a lot, which was why i mentioned him, because i was under that impression…afterwards I googled it, realized I was wrong, then posted a message explicity stating i was wrong. In my mind he is now lumped into the same category as ronnie.

Steroids are not illegal in bodybuilding? They may not be against the rules but they are still quite illegal. They were illegal when bonds took them, they are illegal when a bodybuilder takes them. Just because the sport doesn’t bother to have a rule against them is irrelevant.

Again, it is quite interesting how quickly people are to defend drug abusers. It is as if insulted your grandma, some of you need to lighten up on the hero worship.

The roid rage comment was sarcasm. Tongue and cheek.

And prof X, we get it, you are the forum badass, THE internet tough guy. No one cares

Wow, what a strange thread.

And people wonder why there is a need for T-Cell Alpha.

I wonder what these ppl who were bashing Ronnie would say about Frank Zane or Larry Scott? They never even heard of them or prob seen them, so I wonder if they would have the same opinion?

It wouldn’t matter.

There was a photo shoot that Flex Wheeler did a while back where he wore nothing but regular clothes and he was in off season condition. They were done like regular modeling pictures.

I knew three different women who couldn’t stop drooling over the pictures but than had this similar rehearsed response when they saw the pics of him in contest condition.

He looked BIGGER in the off season pictures.
You wouldn’t happen to be able to post these pictures or something similar? I get way more motivation from seeing offseason pictures since it’s what I’m shooting for before I would ever consider dieting down.

isn’t it wonderful when bodybuilders need to defend bodybuilding on a bodybuilding site ?
Professor X wrote:
I think it needs to be pointed out though that they aren’t even responding to the SIZE of the bodybuilder considering some seem to like the look when they are not in contest condition.

The same women talking about what they don’t like would be the same ones heading to a male strip club to throw dollars down the pants of some guy damn near as big.
OK, back the truck up. Since bodybuilders in contest condition have spent that last month dropping weight (dieting, dehydrating, and cutting the steroids if they have to get tested for whatever reason.) wouldn’t they big BIGGER when they aren’t in contest condition? Or maybe I misread something.

EDIT: Also, maybe it’s just me, but in my experience, yes women absolutely respond to size. And when I say size, I’m talking about that limbo between muscular and fat where your in the mid 20s for bodyfat and you’re still thin enough that you can just barely get your shoes on the in the morning and your pecs are big enough and your shirt hangs just right so your belly doesn’t stick out.

And when I say women. I mean hot latin women with beautiful faces and guitar shaped bodies.

Just in case you were still curious of Jay’s involvement with drugs. It also doesn’t help his cause that in his DVD you can see his insulin in his fridge. Get a clue

Not to hijack, but I can’t wait until that comes out on DVD. I missed it in the theater.

“Where did my weights go? My 35’s??”

“I think a girl took 'em”

While I do think most people dont like the pro BBer look, you have to acknowledge its pure defense mechanism stuff when they just start slinging shit at the guy.

If golds did what they did, he should get paid no problem.

I’m sorry, you explicitly state you don’t respect people that take steroids, but then state you respect Jay Cutler? Your opinion is officially retarded and doesn’t even make sense.

I could have sworn he was not a juicer, I was wrong on that point. For some reason I thought that was true but guess not. My previous post was edited accordingly.

God forbid someone is ever wrong (then admits it, and corrects himself)

Got a case of roid rage there?

Wait, you like Cutler but not Ronnie because you thought Jay Cutler was all natural?

You must be 10 years old.

Why do parents let 10 year olds use the internet by themselves?
Bwahahahahaha
What’s he even doing in this forum?

And about steroids… I think tweekey needs some test, seriously.

Sorry I don’t spend all day on this site sometimes it takes a day or even two to respond.

I don’t have respect for someone who commits pretty serious crimes while being employed as a cop. I also don’t respect people that take steroids. That is a personal belief. You can spare me the lecture about how hard you have to work if you use.

He is a freak, quite frankly he looks like shit. He worked hard, so what? The results are ugly. If I could get those results with absolutely no work I would turn it down every day of the week, twice on sunday.

Professional bodybuilding has a bad reputation because of people like him. Those types of people that bring negative light (for good reason honestly) should be shunned, not respected.
I am sure that you have eased through stop signs and maybe even run a red light once. Therefore, I have absolutely zero respect for you as a person.

Will Harris is a beast. Are his arms truly at 25 inches? Don’t get me wrong… he’s got some guns, but 25 inches is insanely large.

On a side note, I train more for strength and athletics right now, but having a chance to listen to Charles Glass speak for a while would be fantastic.

Hey Tweeker what are you doing here. You don’t see us judging you on self-righteous hypocritical cop nation…

Will also says he’s like 300 years old and a vampire. It’s hard to tell someones arm size from a video but I’m willing to venture that it’s an exaggeration.

I think tweek must get very upset watching sports. So upset he just might one day muster the strength to get off the couch and learn something. One day…

Oh well, can’t cook his fifty microwave burritos in a book.

That sounds like a challenge. It’s so on.

By the way, why does everyone think BBers keel over and die when their 50th birthday rolls around? Arnold is still doing very well, Many pro BB’ers are in their 40’s are doing fine… Zane, Drapper, Nubret, Yates, Olivia… They are all in fantastic shape well into their later years.

Some of the guys you listed are in their 60’s. Nubret turns 70 this year. How come they haven’t died yet? I mean, that’s the crap that everyone keeps spewing about bodybuilders, right?

According to many of these people, anyone that’s ever touched a steroid is at risk of dying at any time. Because, that’s clearly not true for anyone else.

I once thought about Steroids, and now my family says I’ll be dead by 40.

You had that happen to you too!
