Guys should be taught this in middle school so they avoid even worrying about it.

I can’t tell you the years I wasted not understanding that concept. As the older sibling, I did pass on this wisdom to my younger brother who got a head start over his peers and avoided this silly learning curve.

Personally I don’t have much respect for Ronnie and think he is simply a freak but that doesn’t mean people should be able to trade on his name.
I am guessing you have no response for this since several people have asked you…but I do find it funny that someone would say something like that. This one of the few bodybuilders who actually worked long hours at a REAL job while also becoming a Mr. Olympia.
There are so few who can claim something like that, that it makes your comment DISrespectful. Unless this man did something to you personally, why a lack of respect?
Simply a freak? The man worked harder than most of the people on this site could even comprehend. With most of the posters here afraid to eat, how many have actually even eaten every 3-4 hours without fail for even the last week?
There are people posting in a bodybuilding forum who have no respect for bodybuilding. Why does this make sense to you?
Sorry I don’t spend all day on this site sometimes it takes a day or even two to respond.
I don’t have respect for someone who commits pretty serious crimes while being employed as a cop. I also don’t respect people that take steroids. That is a personal belief. You can spare me the lecture about how hard you have to work if you use.
He is a freak, quite frankly he looks like shit. He worked hard, so what? The results are ugly. If I could get those results with absolutely no work I would turn it down every day of the week, twice on sunday.
Professional bodybuilding has a bad reputation because of people like him. Those types of people that bring negative light (for good reason honestly) should be shunned, not respected.

Many times their initial reaction to a picture is pure physical, but when you ask them a question they get a chance to think. When they get this chance many of them see bodybuilding as an obsession, which leaves no room for them in the bb lives. In many cases this is true, so they would much rather have a couch potato who has them on a pedastal, then a bodybuildier that they have to change their life around for. On the other hand, when they’re on vacation and they want to be boned they will squeeze your arms at the bar.

Ok, you’re on a bodybuilding forum but don’t respect people that take steroids. Fair enough, regardless of how much I think you’re a moron. But then…

Are there any bodybuilders you DO respect?
Steroids…they are sort of illegal in this country.
Vince Gironda, Jay cutler.
Although in Jay’s case he fits the mold of physiques today. I prefer the past era physiques more, but he still gets credit.
I’m sorry, you explicitly state you don’t respect people that take steroids, but then state you respect Jay Cutler? Your opinion is officially retarded and doesn’t even make sense.

Just because you perfer yesteryear physiques doesn’t mean you can not respect those who have accomplished greatness. His physique was remarkable before he even began training in BB and was just powerlifting.
The man could be a world champion powerlifter and bodybuilder if he really put his mind too. He changed the face of bodybuilding (whether for better or worse, in your opinion), you still must respect the man for his accomplishments, impact on the sport, and affect he still has on people

I could have sworn he was not a juicer, I was wrong on that point. For some reason I thought that was true but guess not. My previous post was edited accordingly.
God forbid someone is ever wrong (then admits it, and corrects himself)

I must respect the man? Sorry I feel the same way about barry bonds for his accomplishments and impact on the sport. It isn’t respect but rather disdain.
It is funny that I managed to touch a nerve with a number of posters simply by saying I don’t respect someone that uses illegal drugs and lies about it.

I see you’re avoiding the post where I pointed out how hypocritical you were. You changed your post. I saw it. I quoted it. Now apologize and we can move on amicably.
And the difference between Barry and Ronnie is that steroids are not illegal in bodybuilding. You’re an idiot.

100% Agree. That is their job and they love it man, they actually need steroids to get this big, or r u 1 of those youtube guys who say cutler and ronnie are “natural”? Im not saying that steroid use is something good but u better have more caution to how you talk about it here. By the way, what crimes did Ronnie commit?

Got a case of roid rage there?

Wait, you like Cutler but not Ronnie because you thought Jay Cutler was all natural?
You must be 10 years old.
Why do parents let 10 year olds use the internet by themselves?
