I’m fairly sure the video was produced by a non-American company.

That’s funny. I tried to think of a way to say it that wouldn’t be open to multiple interpretations, but it wasn’t happening.
I gotta say, though, I would love to talk with the guy. He just comes across as a pretty straight-up guy, at least for a 300-pound chicken-eating machine. And I can’t help but think, “light weight!” now every time I line up a squat – it makes me laugh, and people give me even odder stares than usual.

I was wondering because it showed him in his uniform, sitting in a police car eating chicken and he says something like “this is what it takes to be two-time Mr. Olympia”. I knew he was a cop. That would be cool to get a ticket from him.
I’m not sure how cool it’d be to get a ticket from any cop, but I’m sure he gets a healthy dose of respect no matter what the situation – he’s a mountain compared to the rest of them. I can just imagine the tailoring it took to get a uniform that would fit him.
I sure wouldn’t want to be on the other end of his billy-club.
I was just thinking how cool would it be if you got pulled over and Ronnie came out of the police car. I’d frame that ticket and ask him for a picture. Sure beats getting a ticket from the typical fat-ass cop.

It would be hard not to try to chat him up.
Dude is beyond Yoked. Massive.
It looks like he has to labor a bit to do certain things, carrying around 300+ lbs. cannot be that easy.

He seems very labored getting around in The Cost of Redemption - that said, maybe it was just at the time of filming, and it seems to be pretty hot down there too which could even give me a tough time getting around at 220lbs :D.
250lbs on rear delts? Wow. Also see how he lifts/shrugs the bar at the end of his second rep on the 800lb deads? That slight arm flexion would mean a bicep tear to alot of people with that kind of weight!
Thank You for posting, I enjoyed it.
I really do wonder though how much bucket loads of drugs can overcome Poor Form.
I didn’t see him use less then a 1 sec negative on anything.
Don’t get me wrong its impressive seeing a guy with shoulders bigger than mosts quads, I really wonder though If we gave shaq one hundred thoushand dollars worth of gear a year, but train with perfect form. I bet he would be even bigger than coleman.
just a joke!
Actually Did you know that Bull Sharks have the highest levels of testosterone of all animals… even higher than bull elephants!

But not higher than Ronnie.
To those complaining about less than perfect form…
That “pumping” and looser form ronnie use allows for bigger weights and more reps. The “pumping” action is more natural and fluid.
Tight form can be saved for “detailing”.
I think it works, because look at the results.
I too, once said, “less than perfect form”, and then think about it. 800+LB deads for reps. 6 plates on front squats, 200 something on one arm db rows. 5 plates on bent rows…
What he does works, as look at the results, and will be more of the “right way” in the future.
His test levels probably are through the stratosphere. And consider this.
How he naturally carry himself is going to allow a higher test level even fully naturally.
For crying out loud were talking over 300LB of solid muscle.
seriously though, there is no corelation between strict form for detailing.and sloppy form for mass.actually you would probably do the opposite. Sloppy form will breakdown less fiber, a faster tempo.
thats like high reps cut you up, if your going heavy and going to failure you might as well break down more fiber by focusing on a slower tempo.
After he lost this year right?

I want to know how he gets by on a Police Department while juicing. I didn’t think Arlington was a blue city.

HAHAHAHA!! I genuinely Lol’d at that.
“Everybody wanna be a bodybuilder, but don’t no body wanna lift no heavy ass weights.” That’s probably my favorite Ronnie quote yet.
Ya know the thing about Ronnie is whether or not you think he has a great physique the guy really is amazing…
LIGHTWEIGHT! AAAOOOWWWW LIGHTWEIGHT WOOOOOOO YEA BUDDAAAAYYY!
My favorite part is at 38:00 mins, where he says anyone can do that weight and theres like 5 45s on the bar.

Good question.
Any police officers on the board want to field this one?

I’ve been local and Federal. We have random tests. They’ll even test someone on an anonymous tip.
It’s kind of scary to think how much weight he could deadlift if he was training purely for powerlifting and using briefer warmups instead of doing work sets on the way up to the double.
