I know that my back issue has to do with my hips, esp. my right one, being tight. So today I decided that I needed to change my warm up. Today I loosened up a bit with riding a bike for 10 mins at low resistance, then I streched out my hips. It worked out really well. I think I will do it on squatting day as well. I am so excited I didn’t get hurt this time ![]()

275 is not bad girl…are your knees bothering you? if not, I would probably wait a few more sets before kneewraps. how tight are you wrapping? Do I get wrap your knees at the meet?

My knees are bothering me now and I squatted yesterday ![]()
I wrap tighter as the weight goes up. Compared to what you wrap I probably don’t wrap tight at all
I think I will get Joe to wrap my knees in the up coming weeks so I can get used to how tight I can handel.
Of course you get to wrap my knees, that ough was told to warn you I was a big baby… this is based on the very first time I was ever wrapped by someone else and I cried… I feel my tolerance has gotten much better since then ![]()

I have to say my back feels pretty good, my knee however… eyeroll I realized over the last few days my left knee feels like it is burning. Sometimes painful in the morning but not too bad and just noticable through out the day.
I warmmed up properly with bike riding and I wore my knee sleeves for every lift, plus I icy hotted my knee, just to change the sensation. I really felt it on 265 and when I went for 280 it just plain hurt. Now it has gone back to being noticable however going down stairs hurts now ![]()
Now I need to figure out what is wrong with my knee ![]()
Does it happen to be on the outside of the knee? if so, I find that’s usually tight IT Bands and foam rolling works wonders for me.
Gots to keep you healthy for the next month now. Are you weighing in on Friday? I’ll be in town probably late afternoon.

It is the front of my knee right below the knee cap… right where all those lovely, and necessary, tendons and ligaments are located ![]()
I wasn’t planning on coming till Saturday morning but the more I think on it I think it may be better to get in on Friday and get a hotel room. My dad and brother will be coming too ![]()
Where are you staying? I was looking for a place close by the gym but Arab isn’t necessarily a metropolis of hotels and amenities…
