Today was the first day I have ever used wraps. The first time they were wrapped it was WAY TOO TIGHT, at least for me starting out, having never used wraps before. We wrapped then much looser and I practiced with BW squats and we progressively wrapped them tighter. I am still not at what one who is used to wraps would consider TIGHT at all but I am getting there. I did feel a bit of a lift from using the wraps so I can see where that benefit will be helpful.
My goal for Febuary is to lose 15lbs to get into the 198 weight class with a 5-8 lb cushion so I don’t have to worry about going over right before the meet.
