Ronda, Rehab to Rockin

Way to go Ronda! Hi I am new to the pw forum so I am kinda late with the response. But all I want to say is that your lifts ain’t bad. =) I know it is not as good as you use do, but I think it is much harder to let go your ego and do the right thing rather than pushing the weights. So, it is awesome that you are doing what you need to do. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you injure your shoulder?

PS. I wish I can bench 135. It is a long term goal of mine. =/

Stay strong.[/quote]

Hi BB!

I hurt my shoulder through an over use injury at work. That paired with loose connective tissue and just having a fucked up shoulder. I hav e to be careful what I do in the gym so not to irritate it. I am considering ART but I havet o get my mind and wallet around paying out of pocket for it.

Thanks for stoping by and good luck

I visted for the Harry Potter movie premiere… yes, we are those kind of dorks :stuck_out_tongue:

It was only for a long weekend but I enjoyed seeing Joe and his wife. I am hoping to go back for his first PL meet

I felt thin and curvy today

lookin delicious!

Thank you nlmain

I didn’t have alot of time at the gym today but I got in what I could.

Back Squat 1x10x45, 1x8x95, 2x8x115, 2x6x135, 1x10x115

SLDL 1x10x45, 2x10x95

Machine Leg Press 1x15x90, 2x15x180

well you got your butt there and moved even when pressed for time. good for you

I remember when I used to update my log everyday and it alwasy stayed at the top of the threads, lol. At least now we have alot more women in PW

Squats BWx15, 1x10x45, 1x10x95, 1x10x115, 2x6x135, 1x10x115

SLDL 1x12x45, 2x12x95, 1x12x45

ss w/

Leg Press 1x12x90, 3x12x180

Leg Extentions 3x15x25

ss w/

Hamstring Curls 3x15x40

Believe it or not but that last group of 15 reps each was MURDER. I know it was at low weight but it was slow and sort of painful, in a good way :stuck_out_tongue:

I am happy I never got in on the Santa hat bet though I am enjoying the videos and pics of those who did ;p

so whatcha been up to?

Working, getting over being sick, Match.com which completely sucks, and I have been really tired, meh. That is about it.

BTW I wanted to tell you about this site as I know you have litte kids

http://magicsanta.ca/

I guess after you put in some info it makes a personalized video from Sata to the kids, I figured it might be fun for you

  2. You should ahve to do the Santa hat thing too.

  3. I think you are sandbagging a bit on your squats.

  4. I wasn’t complaining, I was just mentioning how there were more people now. But you are right, I should post more.

  5. Nah, I’ll leave that to you all :stuck_out_tongue:

  6. Your right, I can squat heavier. Though as I am trying to not get hurt I find doing more volume at a a lower weight does not make me need to visit the chiro nearly as much. That said once in a while I to try see how heavy I can go, which as you have seen isn’t what it used to be :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey Ronda!
thanks for the link…
you SHOULD post more! your one of the OG’s still here(original girl)

I tend to agree with more volume -vs- heavier squats all the time…it’s fun to mix it up anyway!

cardio… meh, boring

I forget to post this yesterday…

Bench Press 1x10x45, 1x8x95, 1x8x115, 1x4x135, 1x3x135, 2x8x115

HS Iso Row 1x10x45, 2x8x70

HS HIgh Row 1x12x45, 2x8x70, 1x10x45

Cable Crossovers 3x15x15

Peck-Dec Flye 3x15x85

I can’t believe I am doing cable crossovers, lol. I have to say though that they are easier on my shoulder then some other things

cable crossovers? points and laughes

You gonna be doing wall ball slams next?

I do the cable things when I need a switch up once in a while. Am all for what keeps you pushing and pulling.

as long as you don’t use the bossu. that’s my limit right there. I might even unfriend you for a crime like that.

I’m just catching up with your log. Okay, I only read the first and the last page, but 2x8x155 is some very nice benching especially since on your first log page you were having some shoulder issues.

I had to go back and look because I was rather impressed with that too and I couldn’t even remember doing it, lol. I mis-typed but fixed it, I meant 115, not 155…
Thank you still
