Anybody know the reason why Rob’s Gym in Southgate, Michigan closed (i.e. Out-of-Business)?
Looks like one of the last bastions of bodybuilding/powerlifting in the area is gone…
Probably because they didn’t hire 20 trainers with no fitness knowledge to sell PT packages the way Bally’s does.
That will drive anyone out of business.
that sad. i started training there over 20 years ago and have attending many of rob’s christmas and pool parties. one of my favorite gyms.
There’s always Powerhouse in Brownstown and is offering $99.00 a year (one time offer).
any good gyms in the wixom/novi area?

I think that may have been the problem.
Tough to compete as an independent when “The Chain Gyms” offer 1 year for 99 bucks.
