The dude was up there roasting everybody else instead of Emmit Smith. It sounded like everything was dragging from the way Foxx introduced the guy. He should’ve caught the drift and kept his mic time short and sweet.

Honestly can’t say that I’ve watched an entire roast all the way through. They get old quick IMO. I’m just saying though, if you listen to Jamie before he introduces the guy, you get the feeling he was already agitated by everyone dragging. All that said, I agree that Jamie was being a dick.

It’s not so much that he was having a go at everyone, whether he was going to get to Emmitt or not who knows. It’s that he sucked. He was bombing big time, and if you are going to pick a fight with Jamie and you can’t handle a comeback, then watch out. A better comedian would have been able to work it in to his act and made it funny. Instead he froze like a bitch. Harsh yes, but that’s the game. Jamie was funny, Dougie Williams was not.

The worst thing that can happen to a comedian, is to have other comics roll on you. Comics are BRUTAL w/ one another. At a comedy club the funniest material is back in the dressing room when they start on each other.
When jamie first started the loud laugh @ his guy he should have come back strong. Really jamie was trying to bail him out. When the guy had nothing, basically he was MEAT.
