Tied a pr today, thats good considering I had to take some time away from pulling due to back problems. I remember missing a 615 triple last year when I was about 8 weeks out from RUM, I went on to pull 705 at the meet. I am well on my way to my 727lb goal.
Good enough for today. My left shoulder is feeling jacked up from benching 2 days ago. It was a holiday monday here in Canada which is good, but it screws up my lifting for the week.
Very impressive numbers and nice workouts, Jeremy. I followed 5/3/1 for 7 waves and put 50lbs on my deadlift. Good luck with your training for Raw Unity.
Worked up to 475 of the heaviest pounds that I have ever felt and barely got 6 reps with it. Everything was just so heavy today and I need to sleep and eat.
I might back off a lot and take the belt off for a little bit, undecided so far. I just want to be fresh and strong come november to lift the heaviest weights that I can lift.

Some days it is just like that when everything feels heavy. Have you deloaded or backed off things in a while? Either way impressive numbers as always!
Well a few weeks ago I was having back spasms so I had to miss some squats and deads. I consider that a deload but I have been pushing hard since trying to get my numbers back up. I will try taking it easy next week and see what happens.
Went home. Next couple of weeks I will just do what I feel in the gym. I am moving this weekend so the stress and work that comes with that will be enough. I will plan to start hitting it hard again in september.

So I pulled a pr today for some reason. Weird considering I have been busy and stressed and not eating. Im not sure if I was capable of this on the day I pulled 705 or not, either way I have never tripled this much before so its progress.
This is all. No squats today, they are too hard and im moving tomorrow so I need to be strong.
So the roster for the Raw Unity Meet is filling up and there are some crazy strong guys that are going. Brandon Cass who pulls 800 or so at about 230lbs and Jesse Kellum who I think is the strongest raw middleweight lifter right now. Both of these guys are much stronger than me but a little heavier, its gonna be fun to compete against them and hopefully it can push me to another level.
Just trying to fit what I can in this week. I had some shitty deads and bench on monday not worth posting about. Im starting to feel a bit more settled into the new place so my training should be getting back on track.
I plan on pulling 3xs a week or so and adding 5lbs each time for as long as I can. I will be pulling and squatting without a belt for a while also. I would like to hit a beltless pr before I put the belt back on.
Today I decided to have an ice bath after training. I have read good things about them for recovery. They are pretty intense to say the least. My hands are still numb 30mins later. Ill try them out a few times before I decide if I like them or not.
Need to do something different with the squats. I cant believe how much of a drop can happen from a couple of shitty weeks. I still refuse to put a belt on until late october/early november.
