You’re hoping to add 1 rep in 8 weeks? Is that a typo?

I got 375x3 yesterday… I think I’m gonna go ahead and try for 405 next week.

got 385 on friday…

another 4-8 weeks and i will have it… need to work on ab strength

235x10 last monday ~313 max, going for 250x8 today

responding to my post, made 250x4, figured out my bar position is too high.

i did 330lbs x 5 box squat (parallel) should be hittin 400 for a single in 2 months or so

Good I guess, I’ve eaten a ton this week. I’ve rested/stretched/Epsom salt bath all week. Just nervous and hoping if I do get a pretty sweet PR, I will continue with the rest of Smolov

Saw it, great video. Tried to post it in BOI, however I’m restricted. How does one get in there?

My best was 345, however I dropped 18lbs and with it lost that squat max. I retested after the weight lose and could only get 320. So I used that as my 1rm on smolov.

I’m not sure about the difficulty but the purpose of smolov is to increase the weight on squats while 20 rep squats is a hypertrophy/mental toughness thing. Your squat would go up on 20 rep squats, but choose the right program for your goals.
