RM

I see the term or abbreviation RM in a few articles on the site. Anyone mind explaining in detail what RM stands for and what it is.

RM = repetition maximum.

I.e. your 10 RM is the most weight you can use to achieve 10 repetitions in good/ideal form.

1 RM would be the most weight you can use for a single repetition like that.

Hey, I see you joined on my birthday! Yeah, he’s right. Nothing more to add except that RM is VERY important in strength training. You’ll use it a lot.
