Rising From the Ashes (CL)

Because they suck?

Yes! But the words I used started with a F!

I agree. For me, normal GM’s murder my discs. Not a good exercise. They are a danger zone lift if they are not respected!

So they fucking suck?

It was my hammies they killed.

Exactly! And a few more!
Now I am sitting here in my car eating fried chicken livers looking over at the Tractor Supply thinking about horse liniment.

They sold DMSO in there last time I checked. If you wash the area first, a little Goodies and DMSO will carry it transdermally for you. Really quick stuff.

DMSO is great, used it often. Not sure it is clear for use on people but it is a great thing to have around.

I am sure it’s not approved for use on people. It’s not the only thing, LOL.

Thanks! I just manned up and walked it off. It only took about 3 hrs for the cramps to fully subside :grimacing::+1:t2:

DMSO has a anti inflammatory effect on its own and it will carry other meds in. It also taste great. You put that shit on your skin and you can taste it. Yum…
I use it sore any sore/injury on soft tissue mostly for horses but don’t tell anyone I use it too.

I will go by and see if it’s available. I am typically scared of things that absorb through my skin ( the last thing that done that, felt like somebody hit me in chest with a sledgehammer) but I may give it try.

At least I did do something

BP
2x5/bar
1x5/65
1x5/75
1x3/80
1x1/85
Switched to pin press
1x5/55
1x5/65
1x5/75
1x3/80

Zerchers off the lowest pin
3x3/axle+50

Played on my rings
Sprinkled in a few pull ups

Question: If one were going to build a homemade swiss bar, would you build it straight or cambered?

I’ve never seen a cambered swiss bar! Would it be easier to make or harder? I say give it a shot! Cambered bars are pretty cool to use for oh pressing, having that neutral grip option on it might be even cooler!

What would you use it for?

It would take a little more time but I don’t think it would be much more difficult to build. Just an extra angle.
Pretty sure I don’t need to have it rated at 700 lbs

Pressing but I have seen them used for rows as well. Mostly I want to see if I can build it. How hard could it be? Right?

I’d be giddy to have either, tbh

I’d go with a straight bar. Way easier than welding the angles on.
