One of my peeps got a new dog. I spent all day listening to it bark and growl at me. Seriously nerve wracking.
Thought I was going to have to gouge my ear drums out with an ice pick. Ugh!
Most people’s dogs run to me to for some lovin. Not this one, it snapped at me multiple times. I don’t think it’s a nice dog. Hmmmm…

I noticed the new name. Based on our “conversation” I was half expecting something along the lines of “fueled by Chili” I wish my mom would lift like you…Keep up the great work!

IThanks! I prefer, powered by…Miilers smokehouse. But they do sell chili meat. It’s just 100 degrees, too hot for chili IMO

Anybody see anything glaring wrong here? Or tips to make this better?

Nothing really wrong with the technique as far as I can tell (I am not really a form nazi anyway). I assume you are relatively close to a shoulder-width grip there.

What I would say is this: The last couple of reps were technically push presses. A strict press and a push press are probably best considered separate exercises, if you are actually concerned about progressing either one of them. You probably don’t get much out of “cheating” the last couple reps that way. What you really did there was 3x50 strict, and then 2x50 push press.

Don’t get me wrong, they are both terrific movements. Just consider keeping them separate.

Thanks! I usually note the push press part but I was hot and tried. Knocked out about 4 hours of yard work in 100 degree heat before hitting gym so…

Thanks agsin!

Good bar placement with the elbows a little forward of the bar. Good movement initiation of the first few reps. Head through the window nicely.

And then YOU CHEATED!

Nah - all looked good.

Tighten your butt more maybe…

Thank you! Yeah, I was getting tired by then and cheated. That’s why I prefer mornings.

Clicked on market place this morning and look what popped up. FOR FREE!
Even the Bowflex adjustable DBs!

Took me almost 2 hrs to disassemble it :disappointed_relieved: The trick will be putting it back together :grimacing:
So excired and thankful!

Yes! Now I can do little leg presses at home :grimacing:

Don’t forget single leg presses! Why should I be the only one who suffers through 'em? :joy:

Gotcha! We will see when I get it back together.

I find single leg presses help keep my strength balanced. Plus, if the resistance is too little for a challenging two-leg press, you’ve just doubled the resistance!

My left leg could certainly use some extra work. It’s lazy!

Haha since the leg injury, I have to do half my leg exercises unilaterally so I don’t end up with one chicken leg and one thunder thigh

Bar speed is definitely improving. Got a little out of sorts but happy with my progress.

Will grab the rest later

What?! Amazing, those adjustable DBs are great too.

Your form looks great here, good strong reps. Nice work!

I have a tendency to push straight up myself, rather than up and back. Nice work.
