Your oh presses look good to me. A tip I have ot tell myself is clench my butt and also brace my abs a lot more then I thought I needed to, it makes a difference.
I HATE straight bar oh pressing myself, can never get it comfortable, feels bad on my wrists. BLEH! I bet you can make yourself a lil DIY log or swiss bar with your medal working skills if you ever wanted! LOG IS WAY BETTER!

I need the 1 inch pipe for the hand holds for my farmers carry handles. (That’s the only part I am missing.) Thinking about buying a 20 foot joint instead of nipples so I will have enough for the swiss bar.

True story. I’m working towards a bodyweight push press, and a hard abs and glutes brace isn’t just helpful but necessary for heavier weights.
Well I was trying brace my abs but I was so poofy from lunch I had to use only the first set of prongs on my belt. Maybe eating the whole order of sweet biscuits from the China Wok, after the steamed dumplings, wasn’t such a great idea before lifting ![]()
Scored a big pile of free lumber from a remodel job in town. Hoping to get my gym closed up, just in case winter decides to drag its ass down here.
I got the parts of new toy laying in my gym. Which I had to pack piece at time down to my gym (about 75 yards! that should count for something. Now there is no room to lift ![]()
Of course we a have 40% chance of rain tonight because it hasn’t rained in months. I needed to leave this stuff outside until I got some the other stuff out.
Totally screwed up my lifting this week but it will be worth it in the long run. I am just going to rerun week 1 next week. It will have to do.

If it were, the first thing I would have to do is find a strongman here (as in, where I live) and the odds of that, ain’t looking good😩
Better stick to using the log for OHP. Brute says she likes it better than a straight bar, and let’s face it, I couldn’t be any worse at it!
FWIW, my press has progressed more in the last few months than ever before. The biggest change has been changing to a seated press after watching @bulldog9899 do them.
I’m still very bad at pressing, but at least I know how to increase it now (for me).
Maybe I should try that. I usually hyperextend my back doing them and therefore don’t like them in the first place. I have figured out this is the one thing my belt is good for.
I usually do the DB presses seated, so maybe I should try it with the bar.
