Hmmmm… winter? You mean a couple of days of blinding cold ( like 7 degrees in the morning) followed by 90 degree days? That’s what it has been like the several years. We actually had spring this year so I am hoping for a normal winter. It ain’t looking good though.

Nice! I’m a bit jealous.
Thanks! It won’t be long until you are back up and running.
I’ll get better but I’m not sure I’ve ever been excited about a bench session.
I’d say that deserves tacos for sure.
I found this to be the biggest drawback. I’m too easily distracted by “fixing this” and “fixing that” and I forget to actually work hard.

Made it through two cycles! Deload next week.
Will probaly change some of the assistance stuff up a little
I have got to learn to OHP. Because mine sucks!
I did get a compliment on my arms last night and it made feel all warm and fuzzy.
New shoes in the garbage.
That is all.
Your lifts are looking good! Tight, with no wasted motion. Trap Deadlift especially is looking aggressive.
Thank you! I have been working hard on form and set up. Trying to fix some things.
Hoping pull 300 at some point. That’s the goal. If it’s on the trap bar, so be it.
Winter’s been weird for a decade-plus here, too.
In other news, heck YES to your great bench day! And lifting 300 pounds on the trap bar is still your body lifting 300 freaking pounds!
Trap bars are great, and anyone who tells you otherwise either has ego issues, or simply doesn’t understand that it is just another tool available. If they are “easier”, it is because they put your back in a more natural position, eliminate some grip issues, and depending on the bar have you starting a bit higher. Sounds good to me. There is a reason a lot of athletic programs use the trap bar variation.
Also, a trap bar lets you do something you could never do with a regular bar. You can pick up that heavy sumbitch and do crazy hard farmer walks with them.

Rowed that machine thingy for 5 mins
Carried the 40ld db for a trip around the gym
You are so talented! Such a cool piece!
Thanks Brute! It looks better now after I painted it, me not so much lol.
Not sure this is how the pro’s do it…
This wil sit on top of it. I hope!
I didn’t even hang lights last year!
I’m ashamed of myself after seeing this stuff.
Lol! We had a huge flood in Oct last year and it destroyed our town’s little Christmas park. We are trying to get it all rebuilt or repaired for this year. The 40ft piece (four 10ft sections) will hang down the old smokestack while Santa peeks over the top. I have NO real dimensions, so I am just guessing, and hoping for the best…lol
That’s awesome, really impressed. I feel extremely untalented now.
If you do ever want a stickman drawn, look me up though.
Thanks! And, as a matter of fact… the next one is kinda stick figures…lol
