Was super bloated trying to pull. Couldn’t hardly breathe. Took about a 15 min break between the deads and assistance stuff and it finally let up.
Got my son to come out and do a few exercises today (aka threathed him with no more cookies) Made him ride the AD a couple mins, lats pulls, because he likes these for some reason. I took 50 lbs off and he did some sloppy reps, I put another 25 back on it got better, then he defiantly got up and putbthe other 25 back on… Ha! And since I was doing db press a gave him the 10s. He was crazy about these. At least I got him to do something!
Amen !! work is looking good kid… I do sumo as assistance so I don’t cry about how pathetic I am

You’re very good with posting vids! Something I never really liked doing but should have but probably won’t still.
I am posting these so when i crash and burn I will able to tell myself, I did it once I can do it again. Or so I tell myself. And if anybody has any advice to help I am open to that too.
I think you should post videos. It may help you figure out how to fix things.

Lat pulldowns, DB OHP, and riding the Airdyne… This is an excellent, basic full-body workout. If you can convince, cajole, command, or con him into doing it a couple times a week, he’d build a solid foundation of strength and cardio, spend some quality time with Mom, and feel all-around better to boot ![]()
We’re working on it, it would help tremendously if it was a little cooler.
Has it not started cooling off for you? I’m near Albuquerque, and our days are low to mid 80s with the nights in the low 60s or even upper 50s.
Wow, y’all are having a much longer summer than us.
I’m actually sad to see summer go, mostly because I feel like I’m still waiting for it to start! It was a weird season for me. In all reality though, I’m like an engine that runs better in cooler weather. How cold are your winters?
