Good for him. That’s outstanding!
Go Jed!
Yay!! I love happy news! Way to go, Jed! Give him a hug he probably doesn’t want from me. lol
Thank you all! I told him everybody was proud of him!
@QuadQueen He is usually okay with a hug. He gives a good hug too! Big, warm teddy bear hugs…lol
Actually popped into the gym this morning and did a something. Nothing to write home about but I did do something!
The local gym has a contest going on in October. 20 mins a day. You can only miss 3 days all month. No possible way for me to go the gym but I am going to try to play along in spirit. Doesn’t matter what kind of workout you do, walking, running, lifting, whatever so long as you do 20 mins a day.
I am really down in the dumps right now so I will see if I can finish this. Not holding my breath.
But! We will give it a shot.
I’m glad you’re back, CL! I was wondering yesterday how you’re doing. I like the 20 minutes per day approach. Lately, walking my dog has filled that for me. I don’t mean to pry, but is there something that’s specifically weighing you down? I remember a couple months ago how life had absolutely dog-piled you.
How can I help, CL?
Thanks TnT!
I guess just overwhelmed. Breaking a leg is VERY expensive if you don’t have insurance.
Lots of people trying to fill my head with their thoughts not understanding the whole situation.
This too shall pass. I can only do, what I can do.
Thanks @EmilyQ
I think this is one of those things that will just have to work itself out.
Maybe I will start buying lotto tickets ![]()
It’s catastrophic. It’s been a tough couple of years for you, in all sorts of ways. Hugs to you and Jed.
Well, you will do your best. Whether you finish or not. Sometimes doing your best is what makes us feel better. Redirects the mind. A tip of the cap to you!
I love this. Such a nice visual for me. And I agree with everything you said.
It has begun… weigh in for the “contest” is supposed today at 11 so…
137lbs a fat 137
doesn’t matter, the purpose of this is not weight loss. Honestly don’t care, that’s the least of my problems right now.
Mmm…mmm… this coffee sure is good with chemically laden creamer in it ![]()

Seriously, GET OFF MY FEET! This guy has a foot fetish.
Way to get after it today! ![]()
I have similar gym buddies. My little guy likes to rub his fur on my face when I’m stretching after a workout. That way he can leave the maximum amount of fur stuck to my face.
Airdyne = 5mins

Going find a paper calendar
so I can X the days off just like the old lady I am ![]()
I love these as well.
Nice consistency!
Me too!
I print out Girvan’s program calendars and love checking the boxes. Then, old lady that I am, I stick them in a drawer when I finish the program. Because I need to keep those, right?
So like 6 years ago my husband found an old calendar that he had been using to keep track of how much money I owed him for things from when I had first moved in with him just in case we broke up. I told him when we found it that he had a zero chance of recouping that money from the word go. ![]()
