Rising From the Ashes (CL)

That’s what I was thinking!

Just going tell on myself here…
I had to replace the blinker bulb on my car this morning. First, I took off the wrong assembly, couldn’t find the light bulb (that I KNEW I had in the car), put the first assembly back together and finally got the bulb changed. 10 mins into the operation the sweat is pouring in off my nose and into eyes. That’s an hour of my life I am NEVER getting back. I don’t know who designed this, but I surely wish they had it stuck up their ass!

One of my great nieces has a Malibu and a head liht went out. No prblem, this’ll just take a minute. Had to look up the manual and take off most of the front to change it.

Push mower for an hour. Holy shit it’s hot out there and not even 10am.
Going to have to sacrifice lifting in the mornings to get this done. We had all that wonderful rain now it’s cooking. That escalated quickly! I HAVE to get this cut before it gets too dry to mow and I end up sitting in a tinder box like last year.
IF I have time may hit the gym in town before I head home this evening.

15 mins pulling/ chopping giant weeds
30 mins push/pulling the mower.
Severe thunderstorm/ flash flood warning yesterday evening so I didn’t stop at the gym. We got about 12 DROPS of rain
Not sure how many more fire ant bites my ankles can take :sob:

We’re going through the same weather pattern here. Gonna be thunderstorms! Barely a drop.

Yeah, I have some boots, they just climb to the top of those and sting you on your legs :smirk:

Legs cramped up off and on all night. Hamstring calf, foot.
No mowin today.

Thanks! But it will pass. This seems to be a thang with me.

I get that too when it is hot and humid. Drinking more water and magnesium seem to help some.

Well this made for an interesting drive home. I did not see the “tornado” but found some ferocious straightline winds and torrential rain at times. Will not be surprised if I have flat tires in the morning from debris on the road.

Hope your tyres were in one piece

The storm took about a 2 hour break then rumbled ALL night long. My new lil girl is terrified of the thunder. Today is my longest day of the week. Just shoot me now!
