Rising From the Ashes (CL)

Well, it’s been 5 days and no symptoms so I’m hoping I’m in the clear. I just can’t risk going to see my 91 yo without knowing for sure.

Thanks doomy. To top it off, I had to rewire a couple of electrical outlets in the laundry room this morning to hook up an air conditioner for the dog. The drill slipped and… wham! I didn’t need that skin or thumbnail anyway, totally overrated.:rofl::rofl:

I’ll be praying for a NEGATIVE test and I hope your “iron incident” injury is healing quickly! Sending you a big hug, because I feel like you might need one! (f you’re not a hugger - just convert it to a fist bump or something less “touchy” and know that I’ll be thinking about ya!

Thank you!

Good grief, things went sideways really quick! I’m glad you’re doing ok and am also praying for a big, fat negative for ya! My brother’s an RN, and he said natural antibodies are proving much more effective and longer-lasting than the injection, so I think you’ll come out ok.

It’s been great!
Not sure about the coach chicken thing though. More like… coach here’s what not to do🤔

Some of my best coaches or mentors in lifer were people who were able to tell what things ‘not to do’

Good thing is… test was negative! Thank goodness. I called all the clinics in town and only one does tests. Called 4 times and left a message, nothing. Ended up having to go to the clinic in person just to basically beg to get tested. I envisioned that going differently. I thought this was supposed to be a simple process.

Got stung by a scorpion last night.

Went down to the creek to work on the water well pump this morning. Started to unscrew the schrader valve and it was a little tight, and then… it turned easy, too easy. I have NEVER had a valve core break, until today. Great! Now we have NO water.
Ended up having to take the roof off the pump house and after trying everything I could think of to dig it out, I ended up drilling it out. It finally stuck to the bit and came out. THANK YOU JESUS! And just in case anyone was wondering… I can still do a muscle ups on to the top of the pump house  replaced the valve made multiple trips back and forth with the air compressor, put exactly 28.5 lbs of air in it and finally got it going. Again, thank you Lord! The points are still sticking a bit, but I am not going to try to force that right now, nope.

Thank goodness for the negative test, but wow you’re really having a run of bad luck!

Yes sir!

Went out and used the pvc pipe to start stretching things out. Washed mats and did some stretching. Ankles are REALLY tight right now.
Thought I better do this for a couple of days before I hurt myself again

Just so y’all won’t think I’m slacking.

Did some band lat pulls

Got tired of the 'feeling like I’m being watched" feeling from my neighbors. (Long story.) I mean really, how can I flex and take cutesy selfies with that feeling creeping on me?

Cut that hateful turkey pear catcus out of the fence.

Got the tools out and went to work. Removing the screws from the old half sheets of tin was mucho harder than installing the new whole sheets.
Any ole way, will have to wait until it cools off some to put the sheets up around the next corner.
