Monday I did bench but skipped squats.

OHP/PP used some uhmp to get the bar up on the heavier sets

A few trap bar sets.

Apparently facepulls were not a good idea for a OHP warm up. Left shoulder was definitely out of sorts. Crackly, and stabby pain under the scapula. Left trap in tight and pissy now. So much for all that warm up bullshit :roll_eyes:

I find I have to be gentle at the start of shoulder warmup, or something gets pissy. Takes a few lighter sets of warmup, then the “real” warmup. Sometimes it’s just doing the warmup motion unweighted.

That’s why I have started with the PVC pipe. I am scrapping the OHP for now, (I have bigger fish to fry…lol) do some more mobility work and come back to it later.

I got some flack on another thread yesterday because I said I was leaving and didn’t go. I just wanted to say Thank y’all for holding me to the fire.

Everyone who has read my log for years knows that I have issues, “spells” if you will, of feeling like death. I have worked hard the last few years to control these episodes and speak of it, but sometimes I do something that causes an avalanche. This was one of those times. A couple of weeks ago I kept an eye on my neighbor’s place while they were in Iceland. They have a nice raised bed garden and told me to pick whatever was ready. While I was checking on things I ate several organic cherry tomatoes off the vine. Here’s where things started to go south. Then I ate salad, seems innocent enough, I mean fresh vegetables are what we are supposed to eat right? Massive histamine overload. I did not feel well. Then last week mom makes shrimp for dinner. Holy shit! I was tweaking like a methhead Thursday morning, By Friday morning my " high" wore off and now I am just left with the downer. Intermittent Neuropathy in my feet and hands, pins and needles, and either burning up or freezing. Bloated can’t breathe, heart jumping around. This is my world. So if it offends anybody, too bad. I don’t like it either.

Now that we got that out of the way…

The plan to finish the year is almost complete. Plan will start Monday, ya know, to harness the power of the new moon. :roll_eyes:

Monday- bench and legs
Wed- Back and trap bar
Fri- bench and light legs
Sat- DL and assistance
Simple double progression on squat and DL

Tues, Thursday, band and mobility work

The only ground I lost was 5lbs on my squat.

The goal: Finally hit that 100lb bench. That’s it. Everything can be in maintenance mode. I have struggled with this for far too long.

Got popped by another scorpion last night at mom’s so not hitting on all eight cylinders this morning. My finger is swolen, itching like crazy and feels like I need to crack my knuckle. Winter won’t be here quick enough for me.

Wild raccoons apparently like to lift. They have been partying on my gym at night. I don’t know if they are vain or if it’s a form thing. They have left little hand prints on my mirror. :rofl::rofl::rofl: I sure hope they move on before I have to dispatch them.
