Thank you for your help. I have one that was given to me but it’s a XL. I don’t think my lady can take it in enough to make it fit. I can see where the longer leg would be better. Thanks again for your help.

CL- Good luck in your meet…remember to read up on the commands for each lift…you probably want to practice them ,even with an empty bar just to get them in your head. They are on the RPS website…Have fun, enjoy the process, bring some food and drinks…

Everyone will be very kind and helpful this weekend. They’ll go over all the commands for each lift so don’t worry. And if you forget just ask someone. I’ve never met a jerk at a meet. Here’s a helpful article about your first meet.

Scale said 113 last nite 116 this morning. So basically I have no idea how I weigh…lol Piece of shit! I’m throwing it out in the yard after this!
Went out and went thru the motions this morning. Might have to lowered the DL opener when I get they. Nite before last I tripped the weeney dog and my hip is pissy. Shit happens!
They posted the flights and I am first…ugh! I was hoping I would get to watch a couple of people before it was my turn. Again, shit happens. Just have to make the most if it.

Picture your lifts in your head. Not like a powerless night mare way, but as an effective mental lifting session. See yourself following the commands. Feel yourself getting tight. Picture the motions.

Use this energy for good.

I was first up in my first meet too. I was so wound up I thought I’d shit myself. I didn’t though and I had a blast. You will too!

First is good. You don’t have to sit there getting nervous. Think deeply, let your mind become one with the weights, then with the universe as you…screw that! Get mad at that bar. It offends you, it challenges you, it’s the kid who picked on you in school, so show it who’s the boss. Seriously, have a good meet.
