On an unrelated note…
My son’s 16th birthday was Thursday. He wanted a surprise party so we are having that today. Since he is autistic, he is VERY hard to shop for. He seldom wants anything, and that makes a huge challenge. So, I went to the redneck mall (TSC) to find some last minute bday presents. The only thing he asked for was a Bottle Brush Bush. It is already secured in the greenhouse, not easy to find out here in the sticks.

Any who, I wasted some money on some lame ass shit he probably won’t like, but hey that’s what it’s all about right? When I went through the security scanner at the door, the alarm went off. The guy said you’re good. When I brought the shopping cart back in, the alarm went off again. It was empty. No idea, so check to make sure I didn’t forget anything and a fat ass woman coming out made a wise crack that it was probably my metal hip. :frowning_with_open_mouth:

I almost told her she better worry about herself and go eat some fucking salad for about year and get back to me on that.

I HATE warmups :laughing: now I do something short to reduce injury risk
I do 4 rounds of:
25 jumping jacks
8 lunges
10 squats
on lower body days

and
I do 4 rounds of:
25 jumping jacks
broomstick pass throughs
on upper body days

they take less than 5 min each and have been quite the game changer

With that said, I still regularly fail 5 reps at 32lbs on pistols during warmup before going onto do multiple sets of 6+
