Rez-V and Teens?

I googled and CT answered it somewhere (cant find…), is it ok to take? I consider myself to have weird looking pecs although im 13-15% BF. Possible hormone problem? Its been getting better slowly but IDK.

Someone enlighten me on this?

I got the same questions, I don’t havy any estrogen or fat problems but Rez-V seems great, and eveytime you lower estrogen you bump T and get + muscle.

I reckon one of the Coaches should write a Hormone Roundtable Article.

You sound like a beginner.

As a beginner with “13-15%” bodyfat, your pecs will look weird…because they are small and covered with a layer of fat.

Before you start jumping to conclusions about hormonal imbalances and start lightening your wallet on supplements, you should work on adding some mass and improving your body composition.

Besides, if you DO have hormonal imbalances (if you are particularly worried, ask a doctor), you should probably speak to a medical professional instead of relying on an OTC resveratrol supplement for your hormonal tune up.

I asked Thibs a similar question:

Reading about Biosignature Analysis in your Poliquin’s Insulin Protocol thread and your explanations of the skin fold tests in Damici’s “Had My First Biosignature Analysis Done” thread, has recently had me thinking about my hormonal profile and what I could do to improve it (naturally).

I have reason to believe that my hormones are out of whack (a small case of gynocomastia, low energy levels, etc). Basically I think my testosterone is too low and my estrogen levels are too high.

What are some things an 18 year old could do beside sound nutrition, training, and rest to improve their hormonal profile?

I’m too young for Alpha Male. I was thinking Rez-V or following some of Poliquin’s supplement protocols on his site.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

  • Rez-V in the morning on an empty stomach
  • Zinc (in orotate and/or aspartate form… I would go with Uberzinc by Poliquin) at 2 x 150mg per day for 4 weeks
  • TRIBEX 3 capsules in the evening, 3 capsules before bed[/quote]

That is what he recommended and I just turned 18. I’m going to try this protocol as soon as I get to the States for college.

If you think you have a hormonal imbalance, then it’s your right to try and improve it. Resveratrol and zinc from what I’ve learned is fine for any teen to take. And if you are going to take TRIBEX or Alpha Male you must cycle. When it all comes down to it it’s just herbs, in concentrated form, its not synthetic T we’re talking here.

However, if you aren’t getting in 8 hours of sleep a night, cutting out alcohol, you might as well not bother. Your nutrition, training, and rest need to be optimal if you want any supplement protocol to be effective. I also don’t think its worth taking if you aren’t already taking fish-oil and a good multi as your core supplements. You need to have your bases covered, basically being the best you can be, before you consider stuff like this. Especially if your only a teen.

Try getting laid too maybe.
