Leave NeelyDan alone…

Although last I checked, 27 x 95 > 22 x 80, but I’m not the resident TN Math Genius!

Dude, I’m just doing what I do best - being a bitch.

I’m very proud of you for out-Kroc-rowing Molly. You should be proud of yourself too. Now then… go to the bathroom, dry your tears, and get your panties out of the bunch that they are in.

Totally! We have to put up with so much stupid stuff in the gym on a regular basis (i.e. being given unsolicited lifting advice from men who have no clue what they are doing, my advice being shrugged off because I’m a woman but still having my workout interrupted to be told I lift a lot for a girl by a guy I can out lift), that I’m not going to be ashamed of a good thing coming my way because I happen to have boobs on top of my muscle

Hey, you got boobs on your muscle? I don’t. I feel so burned. I will absolutely take advantage of anything that comes my way due to being the proud possessor of a vag.

Regarding the unsolicited advice. Are you slow or something? Don’t you know having a nut sack automatically means you know about lifting and shit like cars and whatnot?

I wasn’t…ummm… I mean ‘that guy’ wasn’t saying you should be ashamed, or that it was wrong; just that it wouldn’t happen for a group of dudes, but who knows, I don’t know Louie, you lucky bugger!

I … ummm… he was very envious.

Fixed that for you.

However, it’s not really unsolicited advice because we know you NEED our help. It’s just like we know that you want to sleep with us…because you looked in our general direction.

…Court is really going to give me that 500kg 3rd attempt squat now, isn’t she?

I’m sure you…uhhh…I mean that guy didn’t think I should be ashamed and I don’t doubt that the offer had everything do with the fact we were a group of women in matching hookerface tank tops in a room full of large scary looking men. What can I say, we stood out.

I’ll give you the 500kg 3rd attempt squat if I remember to submit it. I may be too busy staring at you thinking about how much I want to sleep with you…

That was good. Well played!

So I went to ART/Chiro tonight and both my shoulder and back are in good shape. He gets in these moods though where he has to tell you about how awesome everyone else is. He told me moving up to 75kg might not be the best idea for me because even though I’m strong, I’m moving into the most competitive weight class in Canada. Then he proceeded to talk about Rhea Fowler. Rhea is a fucking machine. Anyways, I was already in a pissy mood and having him tell me I’d “never be competitive at 75” ticked me off.

Went straight to the gym:

Eliptical warm up
Foam Roll, Mobility

Squats:
45x10x1
135x5x1
165x3x1
185x1x1
205x1x1
Suit:
255x3x2 - straps down, wraps
275x2x2 - straps up, wraps

Walkouts:
315x1x2
345x1x3

Powercleans:
95x3x5

Seated Good Mornings:
95x8x4

1 Arm DB Row:
30x12x3

Iso Lateral Hammer Strength Straight Arm Scapular Bench thingy:
70/side x 8x3

Long ass session, lots of laughs, lots of dirty comments. There’s another chick there who is just as crazy and dirty as me and we had many a good laugh. I got funny looks when I was in my gear and I shot dirty looks back.

Finally home, tired, sore, and ready for bed.

I double posted so I’m telling you all about my shitty day instead.

I had to get a new work laptop on Monday cuz mine was messed up. Well, today, it started doing the same thing. My IT guys have my laptop. Again.

Oh and I also left my shower/makeup bag in Niagara on Monday. I called and they don’t have it. Even got one of the women to check for it yesterday and it’s not there. So, I got to spend about $200 just to get “the basics” from my bag. Of course I was a twat and instead of emptying it and only taking what I needed, I added everything to what was already in it. Therefore, I lost EVERYTHING.

Too much info for boys…feel free to skip:
Plus I was just fucking miserable today. I’ve been playing around with a few different kinds of birth control lately and they all keep to do different things to me. The first I was on for a very long time was starting to make me a crazy bitch. Then I tried a different one and my sex drive disappeared and I had the worst TOM ever. This one is just turning me into a cranky bitch far before it should. I’m so ugh. Maybe I’ll just abstain until I’m married and then I won’t have to worry about any form of birth control.

Court - that SUCKS about the BC… I have always had trouble finding one that I liked… I had so many problems with it. Have you considered trying something other than the pill? I know some women with copper IUDs who LOVE them… but I don’t know a lot about them personally… something to research and talk to you Dr. about if nothing else…

And umm… BTW, your squats are getting f*ckin’ BEASTY dude! I am so jealous!

More birth control talk…

So I was originally on tricyclen and it worked for a number of years. But then this past fall I started becoming a raging bitch pre-period. So I talked to my doc and he suggested a few different things. I tried nuvaring and enjoyed not having to worry about anything, however I lost my sex drive and, well, being ‘flat’ all month long really isn’t me. I’m now on a low dose of tricyclen and trying that out. I might just go back to regular tricyclen and the people in my life can just deal with it.

As for my squats, thanks  Hoping my deadlift is beasty on Friday as well!

You know Court, he might be the best ART guy around, but personally I found him to be a bit of a dickwad. This statement just confirms it. You’ve done 1 meet, how in the hell can he say you’d never be competitive in the 75kg class? And while Rhea is a machine and a hell of a lifter, um she finished with her newbie gains a while back, whereas you have only just begun. Fuck, do you even have gear that fits you correctly? You are goddam strong in the 67.5, WTF is that guy thinking making such an assinine statement? That you will be WEAKER at 75kg? And isn’t half the thrill of competition to actually HAVE some competition, I know I wish there was more in my class.
You’ve got time on your side and a fucking lot more gains to make in the coming years. I’d just tell him to do his job and fix your muscle and joint issues and save the commentary for those who actually lift and compete.
Fuck I’m aggressive this morning, going to be a GREAT day.

My suggestion is the IUD route. I got one quite some time ago. It gave me cramps at first but then it’s like nothing. I don’t like the idea of hormones and birth control etc. Just my two cents with the side effects your having.

With regard to Chiro, he did the same thing to me. Not that I wouldn’t be competitive moving up a weight class but talked ad nauseum about another lifter in my weight class and what a rock star she is. Seriously stfu. It’s my $50 for my body issues, talk about what a star I am stupid.

As I was driving in, I was thinking more about what chiro said. It makes me angry. This is talk coming from someone who won’t compete because he won’t be one of the best. In my opinion, that is the talk of losers. The people who never get out there and try because they won’t get a medal are the ones that never win.

Making a weight class decisions based on the fact that someone like Rhea Fowler is in it, is retarded. Why not pick one of the top lifters in the WORLD and make a decision based on that.

It’s funny but I more often hear talk like that from men than women. I wonder why that is.

you guys should just resort to an all-anal sex diet

Is that why you’ve got hemorrhoids?

I completely agree with both you and Diana. Frankly, for me, it’s better for me to lift in a weight class I ‘fit’ in than to have to drop 5-6lbs before every meet. I don’t care WHO is in my weight class because I lift for ME.

On a more positive note from him, he asked why I wasn’t planning on flying back to compete in Provincials because at least that way I had the option of doing nationals. It at least got me thinking… I’ll have only been down there for about a month and it’s hella pricey just for a weekend meet, but I figure I’m more likely to stay in comp shape and actually make it to the gym to PL and not just ‘lift’ if I have something to train for. It’ll at least be in the back of my mind for the next two months when I’ll make a decision.
