NG DB Presses don’t bother my shoulder, so likekly a good idea. I have been doing tricep work as well, but need to get into the habit of doing more.
I don’t like pin presses because I never feel like I’m set up properly before I lift. It’s like trying to figure out where you think you should be when the bar is at that height…
And fyi, NeelyDan doesn’t squat in the squat rack, he curls in the curl rack
I had the flaring elbows problem until Jim mentioned something about engaging my lats and keeping the bar a little lower on my chest. As soon as I started engaging them it helped keep my elbows tucked. So maybe a little lat work will do the trick.
Nice Deadlifting. I wish you would have filmed yourself getting pushed down to grab the bar. That would have been fun to watch.

Ahh good point…However does anyone care to inform me what “lat work” may consist of?
It was quite special getting pushed down because he was laughing the whole time and making inappropriate gestures in the mirror (which I could see). Then I almost fell on my face when I started pulling. Good times. I think after tonight (I have my gym stuff with me at work) I’m going to put my camera in my gym bag and leave it there. I need to see some of my lifts to see what I’m doing because I’ve been told what I need to work on but I need to see it to do it. That sentence was pretty rambly and odd, but I know what I meant lol.
So just for you, I will start filming and posting all the attrocities that occur at the gym. Maybe I’ll even caputre high kicking man kicking stuff or doing shoulder dislocating cable crossovers…

I remember reading something from Dave Tate about doing lat work on a horizontal plane to help bench. So my best guess would be bent over rows of some sort.

Went for the third day in a row… I plan on taking tomorrow off because I’m heading to Niagara on Saturday and didn’t want to do two days off in a row. I did some shoulders/arms per Todd’s suggestions. It was Courtney is a weak girl and needs to use the girly assisted machines day. I hated it lol.

On my second set of decline skulls Ouro spotted me and acted like a retard. I was taking a breather so I could knock out a few more and she grabbed the bar. I made her give it back to me and laughed while I did two more. I was laughing too hard and it started coming back down and she was chatting and I had to be like “uhhhh a little help”. It brought back memories of the barn when one of us would be a dumbass trying to spot the other.
Even though it was a “short” session, I still ended up being there for like 2 hours. I gabbed a lot because I needed lots of rest between sets so I could knock out the next. My arms were not happy with me lol.
