Ummm… Hello? I’m Todd… nice to meet you.

Slightly less?? That’s like saying this new Pope is slightly less Catholic.

I hate you.

And you wonder why people find you bitchy and unapproachable at the gym?

No, I don’t wonder at all. I’m quite aware of the look I portray at the gym and am quite okay being seen as bitchy and unapproachable. Fewer people bug me that way. Thinking of starting to wear my hat again and only black clothes. Go back to my bitchy and unapproachable roots.

You’ll be the most buffed up old and lonely cat lady in the history of old and lonely cat ladies. Not only will you shout at kids to get off your porch, you’ll pick them up and toss them.

She’ll actually have to fight me for that title.

Okay ladies, I’m still in for the creation of the business plans for the convent, however I’m putting my membership on hold with the option to renew it at any point without notice

You know you’re an addict when you feel like you haven’t posted in forever but it’s only been 2 days lol. Anyways, I haven’t been to the gym since Wednesday night but I have been super busy and active.

Saturday I played in my last beach tournament of the season. It was gloomy and overcast most of the day, but the rain came out just in time for playoffs.

Today I woke up and my feet were killing from the tournament. Not to mention the random bruises all over my body. Regardless, I went for a run again tonight with the boy that kicked my ass last week. We did about 5K.

It was lightly raining when we started and by the time we got back to his place it was pouring haha. I held my own… however we didn’t do intervals. I realized (and it might have to do with the fact that he has close to 6 inches on me), that his comfortable pace is a bit faster than mine.

That just meant it took us a little while to get into a groove where we were running at a pace that we both got something from it, but could still carry on a conversation. It was fun.

We’ll see how much my body hates me tomorrow, but I’m hoping my legs are happy and I can squat tomorrow. I miss it and Todd said I had to take one more week off (last week) and then we’d talk about it. So Todd, I’m squatting tomorrow night. Thanks for the conversation

Questions:

How many miles is 5k?
You play tournament beach volleyball?
Who the hell is Todd?

Good job, Court. Also, I interpreted this paragraph to be sexual:

In answer to your questions:
5K is about 3.1 miles.
Yes. Have been doing so all summer.
Todd is my trainer. He’s also my friend that makes fun of me constantlly on here… aka Ddot. He’s a jerk but I love him none the less

I can see how that paragraph could have been interpreted sexually. I assure you it was not.

Thanks for the answers and I pity your running partner. He could have made a move…unless he’s saving it for later. Bow Chicka Bow Wow

Ok, I’ll stop. Kick some ass when you got back to the gym, cat lady.

I find it not only amazing, but almost physically impossible that you were able to run a 5k with almost 6 inches on you. Were you running forward while he ran laterally, or did he follow behind you with his mast at full staff?

Just wondering.

hahahahahahahahaha

I hate all of you.

I was half asleep and fully exhausted when I posted last night. I’d gotten 10 hours of sleep over Friday and Saturday and had two busy days, so that’s my excuse. Then, because I’m tough and couldn’t back down, when I was invited to run, I had to say yes.

And Sayjin, what can I say? I have mad skillz. lol

WolBarret - Are you flowing straight from the survival scroll?!

P.S. - By analyzing all of your avatars, and using my innate brothaman locator, I’ve come to the conclusion that you too are a black man. Is this true?

Edit - While I love pancakes more than life itself, I think I enjoyed your Spirit of the Truth avatar more than anything else - please change it back! =(

jeeezzz!!

I’ve hit my “Crack jokes on Court” quota for now. Until she posts a training entry, I won’t make fun her.

P.S. Hellz yeah I’m a brother. Just got my Black Card re-newed.

Hellz yeah

First off, I’d like to thank Sayjin and Barret for hijacking my thread. Glad you guys were able to connect :stuck_out_tongue:

My training from last night…

A. Squats 4x15 - 115lbs
B. Bulgarian Split Squats - 4x 5x5 - 30lbs
C1. DB Squats 3x12 - 22.5lbs
C2. Extensions 3x20 - 45lbs
C3. BW Squats 3x25

Yep, I did squats. While they weren’t heavy squats and only lifting 115 when I unracked the bar felt weird, it was great squatting again. It’s funny how much you can miss it in five weeks! I didn’t track resting times last night because I trained with running boy. I figured since he’s been kicking my ass running, I had to kick his ass with a killer leg workout. And I did  He did super well, but his legs feel like jello.

Last night was oogle Court’s ass while she does squat variations night at the gym. When I was doing back squats, apparently some guy stopped, leaned against the leg press and just stared…until the guy I was with saw him in the mirror and looked back at him. Then he skulked away.

Dude then came back for more. After my last set of C, I headed over to put my DBs away and was about 10 steps ahead of my training partner. The guy stops him and says “Is that your girl? She’s got a fine booty on her. I hope you appreciate it”.

If it’s not one creep at the gym, it’s another… sigh. A bunch of people I hadn’t seen last night too… I can’t wait to find a PL gym to train at a few days a week where you really are just one of the guys while you lift. No oogling, no shock and awe when you deadlift/squat/whatever.
