Did chest, shoulders, and tri’s tonight since this is a short week for me with the holiday on Monday and my girlfriend coming to town tomorrow right after I get off of work. I kind of supercompressed all of my workouts. I did incline db press, hammerstrength decline press, btn presses, lateral raises, dips, and cable pushdowns.
I also had a Spike Shooter today. I think I will be ordering a case sometime soon.
you probably trained your abs because your girl friend is coming over.
your so un-hardcore now, no one on this site likes abs boys i think you should leave.
im sorry i didnt mean that

There is a good reason there are no pictures of the front of me recently.

I appreciate it. Iv been making a point to absolutely go to war every time I go to the gym.
Iv been training two years, only one of which has been serious. I do not know my max bench as I use db’s most of the time. Best squat is 275x6, best DL is 365. I weigh 180.
I dont do power cleans or push presses much, so I couldnt tell you what my maxes are on those if I tried.
I did legs last night, did 4 sets of squats ramping up to 275x6, and then I did a set of 30 reps with 135 lbs. I wasnt feeling very strong last night, so I figured that rather than increasing the weight on the last set, Id do something with an extreme amount of reps just for a change of pace since I normally stick to below 8-10 reps with squats.
I did some standing hamstring curls and some RDL’s, calf raises, and leg extensions. Im going to try and take a picture of my quads tonight and Ill get it up here as soon as I can.

Couple of PR’s tonight on legs:
275x8 on squats
225x8 on RDLs
Weight and poundages contine to move slowly upwards. Im not stoppin until at least 200, depending on how the rest of the summer goes, maybe even 215.[/quote]
It sounds like you are ready to start working out with 315 on squats and 275 on rdl don’t you think?
Iv started training calves every workout recently. Today is my off day and I have to say that I cant walk like a normal person, my calves feel extremely tired, but very inflated…like theyre pumped up. Its interesting.
I am also working on rigging up a belt for weighted dips since the hole of a fitness club that I workout at right now decided to throw theirs away. Worthless.

Your making some good progress fighting queer.
Sounds like the squats are going well you should post a pic straight after your last set of the quad. pumped leg shots are always cool.
i also hate those gyms with no dipping belts. its annoyin, you can buy one online though for about 30 euros i think.
why do you use dumbells all the time? just curious thats all…

Im going to get a good quad picture soon hopefully. Iv got a dipping belt rigged up now. I take the belt I use when I squat and DL and hook this nylon strap with a clip to it so I can hang the plates on it.
I use DB’s for incline press because doing inclines with the bar usually ends up with shoulder pain for the next week or so.
Didnt start my week until Tuesday night since I got to see my girlfriend this weekend (she lives about 3 hours away) and I managed to get off of work on Monday so I had myself a nice 3 day weekend.

Hack Squats- 3x10/270
Unilateral HS Curls- 3x8/90

Calf Raises- 3x25/240

Tibea- 3x20/50
Had a kid tell me that my legs were huge tonight, that was kind of cool.
I really need to get my upper body strength up to par. I feel like I tend to focus more on the big lower body lifts (squat, DL) since they are more fun and that I am making strength gains much faster there. I have above average (still not big) legs and a fairly average upper body.
I want to overhead press 135 for 5 reps and I want to get 100 lb db’s for 5 on incline by the end of the summer. Id also like to be using the whole stack (250 lbs) for reps on my cable rows and be able to do 15 bodyweight chins and 5 dips with two plates.
I havent seen this thread popup in a while. You have made alot of progress on here so far. Wont be long and youl be benchin 300 squaten 405 and deadliftin 455. That would probably have you around the 210lbs if you keep eating like you are.
My bro was benchin 310 or 340 and he couldnt get 100’s on incline for 10 so a 300lb bench isnt to far away.
I feel like Id really have to put in time and practice a good deal to get that much weight on bench. Iv never been as strong with the bar as I am with the db’s. I think the 405 DL is going to fly up as soon as I get back to school. My squats have gone up a lot and I pull Sumo, so if Iv got enough leg drive, I think it wont be difficult at all.
