I previously tried semaglutide but experienced very little effect, likely due to a prior sleeve gastrectomy. For that reason—and because I am an emotional eater—I have shifted my attention to retatrutide. Since retatrutide is not yet officially available on the market, however, I’ve run into a few questions and was hoping someone here might be able to provide some insight.
The source from whom I purchase other off-market substances offers retatrutide from several producers and provides accompanying test reports. This is where my concern begins. The tests in question (from the lab Janoshik s.r.o.) are standard HPLC analyses. Given that true analytical retatrutide reference standards are scarcely available, that retatrutide is an exceptionally complex molecule to synthesize, and that LC-MS would arguably be the only reliable way to conclusively identify it, this has made me skeptical.
So my question essentially boils down to this: can anyone add information that might help determine whether these products are genuinely retatrutide, or whether they may in fact be tirzepatide being sold as such? My understanding is that if appetite suppression is already very strong within weeks 1–2, and if resting heart rate is not affected, there may be a chance—or risk—that the compound is actually tirzepatide.
I’ve never heard of tirzepatide sold retatrutide. If your buying from a place you trust that has 3rd party(janoshik) lab results then you have to trust what they are selling you or don’t use it.
Tirzepatide also works great. I had no effect from Sema and both tirzep and retat are a totally different animal. Starting dose of tirzep is 2.5mg according to Zepbound site. You take 2.5mg retat and you will be hurtin. Point being if you have a seller you trust why would you not continue to trust them?
Many thanks for your reply, especially for sharing your experience with tirzepatide.
The products I’ve purchased from this source so far have been consistently high quality. With retatrutide, however, given that it is not yet officially available, I’m exercising additional caution. After all, sellers are only human as well.
That said, even if it ultimately turns out to be tirzepatide, it seems likely that I would still be able to benefit from its effects. Again, thank you for your answer.
Most think terz suppresses appetite more than Reta. Reta is incredibly easy to get. And super cheap if get through a reseller that gets from straight from china. Or just get straight from china. I can’t imagine somebody selling another glp in its place. Half life 6 days. Take 4 weeks at a dose to build up to full actual dose. For me, under 2mg, not much noticeable side effect. Awful experience when went past this. But I seem more sensitive than most from what I read.
Thanks, very well aware. And no doubt the same thing that has happened every time a new potential solution has been unsuccessful. Over my 51 years, I’ve tried most of them. The difference now is that with Reta, I can choose to continue - whereas my grit, for several reasons, simply isn’t what it used to be. My hope is that Reta will help suppress my body’s response to sweets, which is where my greatest weakness lies. But, as with all things, time will tell
I did, three different approaches and combinations thereof. Helped me lots with other issues, but unfortunately not to any relevant degree with the emotional eating. You can’t have it all, I suppose. Thanks for asking by the way.
Non of these will help you if you can’t control yourself. They will make you feel like you don’t need to eat but if your brain is stronger you will eat and feel like shit.
It sounds to me like you need to get your eating issue fixed in conjunction with diet.
Figure out a way to change your mindset around food. What triggers this “emotional eating”
In my mind I could eat all day even if I am stuffed just because I like the taste of good food but I don’t because I have goals and a strong enough mindset to strive for them. You may need a little dose of mental toughness.
Hi, i have recently done 4mths on retatrutide and its amazing. I got the lap test sent through and its very much legit. I have hit my target and now off it. Went from 92kg 18 percent bf to 78kg and 7.3 percent body fat.
Reta, even in small doses, .5mg week, really helps with food noise and really does great things for blood panels. Even Drs are taking micro doses for all the other health benefits other than fat l9ss.
hey I am just wondering, how are you actually quantifying this? It seems like you would have to be running your own HPLC test yourself at home to now for certain
this is a pretty bizarre sentiment to put forward in regards to compounds that directly control the hunger signalling pathways in your body and your brain. “Mental toughness” has nothing to do with anything, the drivers of eating behaviors and the urges to eat are some of the exact pathways that are being targeted by GLP-1’s.
this does not make any sense either ; these medications are designed for and intended to be used for the long-term. If you want to abuse medications and cycle on / off GLP-1’s, that is your choice, but that is not how its meant to be used and its also not the sentiment that I got from the OP either. Maybe OP can clarify on that. If you are taking GLP-1’s then the implication is that you are on them long-term.
if you want to talk about “unfettered retardation” how about dropping the boomer mentality
