Can anyone name a few good Australian supplement companies that have independently tested their products?
I’m actively involved in the iron game here in tropical Malaysia. Used to take stuff from Designer Protein, Optimum Performance and Twinlab when I was pumping in the States. Hey BIOTEST wasn’t out yet that time, okay? Problem is… Malaysia’s currency exchange rate went pow wow against the dollar and now it’s RM3.80 = USD1 so it’s too expensive right now. Aussie is the best supplement alternative so far. I’m thinking somewhere along the line of Musashi( from what I heard it’s like the big bad Weider corp.), Max (Aminoactive). Can anyone help? … that is unless TC’s feeling like Santa Claus and give me a 70% discount on BIOTEST. Bwwwaaaahahahahaha.
I seem to remember another poster (Tan perhaps) saying that he had a phone consultation with Ian King and that he thought Musashi products weren’t that greater quality(havn’t tried them myself though). I can tell you that Amino Active products are good. They make a good protein bar called CVGM. Really, it depends what supplement your’re looking for because one company might make the best bang-for-buck protein powder, while another might make the best creatine. Other brands to check out are: Aussie Bodies, Vitalstrength and Body Ripped.
Hey Kong, i’m from malaysia too but studying in Australia…don’t really like the Aussie supplement companies as i think both the taste and quality suck…if u’re worried about cost get the 5 pound tubs, especially Prolab and optimum which taste pretty good…by the way, which gym do u work out in and do you live in kl???..cant find a decent gym in malaysia
Phatt, good memory… by the way i did a training troubleshoot report with Ian King…and he did say that other than musashi he doesn’t have a problem with most of the other Aussie brands so that might be a factor to consider as well…
