Dude, I am not gonna call BS. I have seen some crazy things in my short 6 years lifting. i am 6’2" 215lbs and bench 330 for my 1RM. But I can get 225 15 times. If you are normal, which I doubt with those numbers, you should be getting 300-305 for your 3RM. What I would suggest is forget the 300+ poundages. Pick a weight that you can do for 10-12 reps and do 3-4 sets of that twice a week. Try to add 5-10 pounds every week. Another thing that has worked for me when I want to add reps of a certain weight. WARNING: BURNS LIKE BALLS!!! Rep till you fail, then get a spotter to help you force 3-4 more. After a few weeks, you will be getting 6 reps on your own, then you can add weight, or just go for more forced reps. i have done this, it works. Just give it a try, maybe it will work for you, too.
Maybe his 1-rep max is all momentum and he arches the entire rep but when he does 225 he tries it as strict as possible and he’s just weak.
If his 1-rep is strict then it’s bull. Not even Ruben Studders musclear endurance is that low.

well im currently doing the Ultimate Triceps Program, and ill be done with it by the end of may.
i did get 225 4 times the other day after my tricep workout, and i had a couple more in the tank, mayb 2-3, and this was after i had done my tricep specialization work. i was just pumped and got it. i will put a vid by the end of the month hopefully

I don’t see how one can proove that he can’t get a weight a certain number of times with a video.
I can make it look like I can’t get 135 three times if I really wanted to.

The way I’ve thought about it, and I’m assuming everyone else has, is that he is overstating his max by quite a bit; so I’d like to see a video of that.

your weights (or at least the % of 1RM) are essential to your post, so this is not a valid refutation of the doubters’ contentions. add this to you not keeping your story straight about spotters and the lack of a video after all these months, and i have to finally declare TSB. this was a huge waste of server space, and may God have mercy on your soul.
