Just curious as to how many reps you can bench 225 pounds.
Currently I can get 11 reps. I weigh 195 pounds.

Back and butt staying on bench bar in moderate tempo down touching chest and back to full ext. 12 reps.

I did 16 during my warm-up a couple of weeks ago, an all-time high of 26.
5-6 reps depending on the day.
11 at 5’10 178lbs
11 reps a year ago, did 10 reps at 245lbs a few months back.
bw: 240lbs
12 @ 167. I am hoping I can maintain this as I head back down to 150.
16 close grip and i did 20 or so with a normal grip after an ME bench one day last training cycle.
After my next meet I want to mess around with rep work for hypertrophy.
I am currently at 13 reps. My best is 14.
I am 6’ and 225 bw.
34 is my all-time best. About two weeks ago, I repped out 225 for my RE day after not having done it for a year or so, and got 31. I’m 6’4 and 260.
I’m really curious this summer to see what would happen if I loaded up on Beta-7, something I’ve never tried, given its proclivity to influence sets above 20 reps according to the recent Waterbury article.

Seems like just the sort of thing it was designed for.
Interesting question I sure hope I could do 25-30 although I have no idea. I did 315 for 12 a few weeks ago. Since I do Westside I never do a lot of reps that 12 was just to see what I could do
a whopping 1 or 2 at 148 pounds.

Damn. I can’t even imagine that at this point. Good shit.
Last night I worked up to 365 x 5 on Flat Bench, then after resting a bit I did 225 for max reps. I did 26, probably could have grinded out a few more, but wanted to save some for the rest of my workout. I am 5’9’’ 210ish.
5 @ 18 6’ 255… I feel like such a pussy compared to everyone else…
why? just remember that everything is relative to genetics. you have to take in to consideration arm length, tendon placement, type of muscle fibers, bf level, form, skeletal size, and many other factors.

If I posted my numbers you would feel a lot better.
But I won’t shame myself like that.
I’m 260-270 lbs. I get 18-20 at the end of a bench workout or if I go close grip, about 16-18. I like doing them, but my hunch is that they don’t do a damn thing for me other than make me better at doing 225 for reps.
needs some work…

Last year I saw one of the firefighters that works out at my school’s gym do it 49 times.
