Rep Range for Obliques

I want to train obliques to help my squat, deadlift and bench, but i want to do this with minimal hypertrophy. 3 rep range? 20 rep range?

Also how important are they for powerlifting? How often should you train them?

Depends on the method you are following. If you train conjugate method - one heavy day and one light day on them when you train abs. You can also do extra workouts specifically for them if they don’t fall on a training day. Anything core/torso related is important. Train them, they are important.

lol. you know people that know don’t ask this and those that don’t know ask it all the time. so yes, I think he is serious.

I just wonder how he knows that obliques are the weak link that needs the work.
