Hi, guys - I was wondering if any of you have ever had any scars or moles fixed/removed/diminished before. I have a scar on my back, as well as some horizontal stretch marks from my growth spurt as a kid that I would like to be rid of. Any info on methods, price, etc. would be greatly appreciated. DrS
some massage therapists know how to remove scars with just ice and massage.
here’s what a rather intelligent masseuse told me to do with my scars (i haven’t yet, tho): ice the scar for three minutes then do intense (don’t hurt or break skin, tho) parallel and perpendicular rubbing on the scar for two minutes. do three times a day for a week. do every other week.
the rationale behind this is that the ice confuses the scar/skin molecules and the rubbing rearranges them.
