I have never dated one but have observed the relationships of friends dating them.
I wouldn’t even call a single mom + kids a family. A more accurate description would be a codependency clinic. They chock full of baggage.

Well, what I really think is that marriage is all about children.
What I also think is that if divorce is hard, people make marriage work.
If it is easy, like it is now (for women that is), people will always have buyers remorse.
So, the way I see it, we have a woman there who just did not try hard enough to do what is in the best interest of her children and you can google the effects of single motherhood on children which is what we are more or less talking about with bi monthly daddy time.

Not a bit higher, 10, 20, 30 times higher.

I’ve dated/fucked a LOT of wiminz over the last 26 years. Single moms were kinda “low hanging fruit” - easy pickings. I never dated a SINGLE ONE who wasn’t bitter, fucked up, had baggage, emotional issues, was sexually abused, or not over her ex, ect…
And dealing with their spoiled “single mommy syndrome” kids was always problematic. And then they give you these rules that “you can’t discipline them, they’re not your kids”, to which the reply was, well they’re in MY FUCKING HOUSE… So yeah, I gotta hop on the “don’t date the single mother” bandwagon if you’re looking for something serious or long term.
And of course, I will extend the olive branch by saying there are OF COURSE exceptions. But from my experience, both personally and observations within my social circle, single mothers (especially those with multiple kids with different daddy’s) are best left alone. Unless you want a really quick dramatic experience for kicks.
