I was wondering if Coach D. has had any experience with rehabbing damaged athletes? Five weeks ago I got a Level III ‘sprain’ during soccer, and I would like to know of any new and exciting techniques I might employ to get myself back on the field again as a new and improved athlete. Currently, I’m at the physio 3 times a week, and will be having an MRI next week. If everything is clear, then I’d like to try something a bit more radical than “Ice packs and wobbleboards”
good comment, much deeper than you may be aware of. Rarely in high level sports do you get an athlete whose body is not riddled with injuries that to most are catastrophic. I think it best if you detail your injury, your present status. That way other’s, such as Mr. Santillo may review and discuss. It would be my pleasure to assist. In faith, Coach Davies
Thanks for the quick reply Coach…! At the 5 week mark, my ankle is still as stiff as a board, and isn’t responding to treatment as well as it should for a ‘sprain’,which is leading my physio to the conclusion that there is a good chance of something particularly nasty going on within. After the MRI I will let you know of the outcome. Thanks again.
was it a high ankle sprain. Let me know how the MRI is. In faith, Coach Davies
