I am told that to sprint at maximum speed, I must have powerful forward arm drive. When I run, my right elbow travels backwards and forwards in a straight direction, however I seem to have a problem trying to get my left elbow to do the same. When I swing my arm backwards in a running motion, my left elbow tends to stick out towards the side. I was wondering if anyone knows any way to fix this flexibility issue in my left arm so I am able to run with correct form.
DL, Speed City used to sell real thick rubber hands that you’d put between your thumb and first finger and then wrap behind your elbow. This would keep your arm in the correct angle for sprinting. So, a thick rubber band from thumb to elbow might correct your problem.
