Recovering From Flu

Hey guys, just got over a bad week of having the flu and I am planning on heading to the gym tomorrow, my question is how hard should I take? I know a week is not too long of break, but I am wondering if it possible to lose that much strength, muscle endurance and speed of metabolism in a week? I have been forcing myself to at least drink 1 or 2 protein shakes a day, but that is about it, maybe a cup of chicken noodle soup, but that’s about it.

For me I’m usually stronger after taking a week off because it gives my muscles time to fully recover. You may be different because you were sick, but you never know. Go all out and do as much as you can, no reason not to.
