I acquired my taste for whiskey back when I was spending time around some very distinguished alcoholics. Surround yourself with classy drunks who know the virtues of brown liquor and a good cigar.

It’s all about finding what you like. For example I don’t particularly like single malt Scottish whiskey (like Glenfiddich) on the other hand I enjoy Makers Mark (a Kentucky bourbon whiskey). You’ve just got to experiment.

Haha trust me, this is my idea of a 21st birthday. Minus the donkey show, I don’t think I have the stomach for it haha. Like I said health issues are unfortunately preventing me from hookers, midgets, and being on the verge of alcohol poisoning. The world just isn’t fair

You just need to find your gateway whisky. Much of alcohol is an acquired taste (let’s face it, the taste is only secondary: people drink to get drunk), so a lot of it will taste rank the first time you try it.
I hated whisky for years, then one day I tried one that didn’t taste bad (to me) and I was able to appreciate the flavour. It was one of these Bunnahabhain 12 | 12 Year Whisky | Bunnahabhain
Anyway, from then on I was able to pick out flavours in whisky and find ones that I enjoyed, and now I fucking love whisky. In fact, I’m off to post in the whisky thread right now.
So just keep trying one every now and then, you’ll appreciate it eventually.

I’ve had 3 surgeries in the past 2 years to remove a piloinidal sinus. Basically have spent the past 2 years with an open wound of varying sized in my ass. Largest was about 5 inches long, 2 wide, and a couple deep. It healed up finally 2 weeks ago only to reopen again. I go off to school in 3 months, and cannot afford to have this not healed. If i fall it could rip bigger, if I take too big of a step and stretch the area it could open bigger, hell the damn thing opened up while I purposefully sat around resting. Haven’t trained lower body in 2 years, and haven’t touched a weight in 2 months in a last ditch effort to heal this thing. Theres’ a lot more to it but I can’t afford to get drunk and injure the area
